Well, I get to order my MP Roddy and finally get a set of Predacons with it.

I know I have Banzaitron, CJ, TW and SG to open as well on actual X mas day, think a Terradive too

:EDIT: I think I am. Pretty sure I am. Am I? I dunno. I might be getting RID Megatron, Classics Ramjet, BW Scarem and TFC Blitzwing. All depends on if my lady was feeling very generous. Recently got myself a Monstructor for a steal and Protector, Sidearm and Sidearm should be reaching me in the next few days. So who knows?

im in the same boat, between TFsource and kapow toys my bank account is getting hammered regularly for the next several months. thank god for student loans.

i just stick to buying them myself, having them put aside till the day (universe darkwind is 10 feet away but i must resist!) and reclaiming the fundage from xmas

I usually get something for myself with the money my Mom sends. I ordered Protector and Sidearm as my gift from her but she had her gall bladder taken out a month ago so she can't work so she can't sending anything this year. So in the end, I bought myself something instead of getting things for other people so I'm feeling kinda like a dick.

I have in past years, sometimes, but not this year. I already got the ones I really want that have been released with birthday money, and with 4 or more lines on shelves at the moment (RTS, Gen, HFTD, Animated) I didn't want to confuse my mom with a list and wind up with her getting, oh say, HFTD Dirge instead of Gen Dirge.

I got my Predy sitting under the tree, of course. I think there is an Animated Japanese Blurr too. I usually get cash for Christmas. This year i'm putting to getting the DVD Transformers Matrix Collection.

I'm new to TF collecting. I came from Star Wars and this year everybody has said "I thought you liked Star Wars?!" So it confused everybody that I switched and they don't have a clue about what to get. I don't think some people think I'm serious about TF's anyway but it doesn't matter. I've got all I want at the moment.

have all of generations and some rts but i came home to find a bag FULL of BREACHERS! ive wanted this figure so bad since hes perfect for army building. i counted 8 total! damn its gonna be a good x-mas!

Hey, a long time ago I was a Star Wars freak too (well, my early childhood maybe), but I can't say I don't enjoy playing the Force Unleashed. I personally just really got back into Transformers again a few months ago.
My advice for you with getting new figures is just start out with what's current. If you're really into the classic stuff, then you should go for classics and universe in the older lines. If you like the movie universe too, I wouldn't worry about getting older stuff with DOTM coming soon unless there are certain characters or molds that you like. And don't waste too much money on Japenese Transformers, either.

I've asked for a few of the Generations and HFTD figures that I haven't acquired yet. It'll be interesting to see what I get. I'm sure I'll get a Jetblade, Ravage, or Ironhide but it will be immediately exchanged for something I actually want.

No adult at this house is getting a transformer for Christmas.

This kid on the other hand will be very excited to see what Santa left under the tree. :grin:

I am not really sure this year. My girlfriend and I bought a big tv, so we didn't buy anything for ourselves. Maybe one of my family member picked something out for me. I guess I will find out tomorrow!

I decided to buy a present for one of my mates, he regularly accepts my deliveries for me (the large, multiple figure deliveries i dare not send to my house) and buys the pizza on friday night, so i got him a second hand Chromedome and TFA Swoop. Made a big mistake and got my mum to wrap them, she managed to decapitate Swoop! i didnt realise till after id delivered it. FAIL

He's getting the head next week. Although i find it funny i gave him a headmaster and a headless transformer.

He got me what feels like a legends class figure, luckily its still packaged so no decapitations there lol

I have a bed set up in the room where my collection is kept so my mom bought me a complete be ROTF bed set along with curtains she had my grandmother make out of an extra sheet set. I think its awesome but the only thing is.....MOM IM 33!!! :lol:

I am quite an adult (40 yrs old this past June), and I got about a half-dozen TFs for Christmas! Hell, all I asked for this Christmas was TF-related!

TFA Rodimus Minor, check!

Legends Megatron, Starscream and TrailBREAKER, check!

A membership to the TCC, check!

I even got TFs I didn't know I wanted.....

WST Megatron, check!

And Christmas ain't yet over! =)

Well, it pays to have a GF who loves TFs. After midnight, we decided we couldn't wait any longer, so it was present exchange time. FYI, she's a "Prowl+Jazz" freak.

I got her:

-Mighty Muggs Prowl
-Mighty Muggs Jazz
-Animated Elite Guard Jazz (she already had Prowl)
-G1 Swoop (her favorite Dinobot; it arrived in an absolutely CRUSHED box, and the beak broken)
-WFC Soundwave

She got me:

-TFA Lockdown (awesome car mode)
-TFA Lugnut (totally unexpected nice surprise)
-TFA Rodimus (freaking love the bow and arrow)
-TFA Blitzwing (my favorite character from that show)
-RoTF Toasterbot Ejector (HILARIOUS pleasant surprise)
-Mighty Muggs Soundwave

We got each other some non-TF stuff, but that doesn't concern y'all.
