Just enlighten me on how the storyline should go in the next movie and what Transformers from the previous animated series should be in it.

I think it should have an “Empire Strikes Back” feel. In other words, the Decepticons should win this time.

And they have to have Soundwave.

Oh, yes Soundwave would be beast in the movie. I was thinking instead of the animated series now they should make a series using the real life look like in the movie and have it lead up to the producers making a movie. Think of how much money they would make.

Sadly, it would be pretty costly due to the extensive usage of CGI.
Moreover, not everybody who watched the Movie would watch a TV-series, and this would lead to some viewers of TF2 getting confused....

I interpreted Starscream_207's post as an animated series in which the characters are drawn like they are in the Movie franchise comics. I wouldn't mind a tv-series with that style and it wouldn't be much more expensive than the current Animated line, which is right now a nice amalgation of +25 years of TF lore.

AGREED!!!!!! Star Wars is one of my favorite franchises and the whole format is perfect. I saw on the extra DVD from the original trilogy that the three movies followed a format in which each episode was like an act of a play. In the second act (empire strikes back) everything goes to hell to be solved in the third act (return of the jedi). and Transformers is a trilogy so... Decepticons on top would be a great thing to happen in TF2!

(Oh yeah, Soundwave would be cool but I thought Frenzy was supposed to be like Soundwave because he'd have to be small to not mass shift. I dunno about making a Soundwave character into a car because that would be so off from his G1 counterpart. )

I think originally Frenzy was supposed to be Soundwave, but they changed it cause Soundwave is a fan fave, and they didn’t want to frak him up.
As for what his alt mode will be, if they are insistent of staying away from mass- shifting, they could use his stealth fighter mode from TF: Cybertron.

OK guy's this'll be a long one:

Have the movie start off with Starscream returning to Cybertron in search of his aerial division (thundercracker, skywarp, cyclonis, and blitzwing)
He summons them to return to earth to get revenge on the autobots or reclaim the missing allspark piece which has some importance of some kind.

While detailing his plan to his minions, unbeknownst to starscream is covert agent Ravage. With some help from lazerbeak he returns to Moon base 1 where Soundwave and Shockwave are leading the last "known" decepticons (Tidal wave and the Constructicons (minus bonecrusher, when they go to earth they reformat him into a construction vehicle). After hearing of starscreams insurrection towards Megatron they decide to discontinue their current battle with the last "known" remaining autobots on Moon Base 2 and stomp out starscream before he attains ultimate power over the Decepticons.

Meanwhile the autobots are resting peacefully on Earth living out day to day life, until they receive a distress call from moonbase 1 saying that the autobots are helpless against the decepticons lead by Shockwave. Bumblebee, ratchet, and sam head to cybertron (because sam wanted to see cybertron) with some help from Earth's government. This however is a trap set by soundwave to seperate the earth's autobots and catch them unawares on moonbase 1.

Meanwhile however on moonbase 2 where the Real last "known" remaining autobots(Ultra magnus, hot rod, hound, prowl, arcee [maybe] and mirage) are, they pick up optimus' transmission(from the end of part 1) as well as Soundwave's false transmission and send Ultra magnus, hot rod, arcee, and hound to earth to back up the autobots on earth against the oncoming forces.

Soundwave (with lazerbeak and ravage) lands on earth with the constructicons and Tidal wave. Soundwave and his tiny cohorts are sent to infiltrate the autobots base (which can be wherever), the constructicons reformat bonecrusher back into one of them and they become construction vehicles, and tidalwave is sent to get Megatron at the bottom of the sea.

Starscream and his followers find agent simmons who has been fired in disgrace and decide that they will need some kind of human help in order to successfully vanquish the autobots for good. They can also do other stuff too I guess.

Over on moon base 1 sam and his autobot companions find out it's a trap and have to fight off shockwave and his many drones, when all seems lost mirage and prowl show up to save them barely escaping from shockwaves deadly cannon form (like the one in the video game). From there they retreat to moon base 2, and sam learns a great deal more about the autobots and the decepticons.

On earth there is now general conflict between Ultra mangnus and Prime. Through the years of warfare and the continuous loss of his comrades has made Ultra Magnus extremely cold towards everyone sometimes even his own troops. There is a power struggle between him and Optimus leading into a fight (the first sign of the reality of war between characters).
Mikaela meets Arcee obviously and they hit it off.

It all boils down to Megatron coming back with some kind of new power due to the allspark and ending with a huge cliffhanger like most sequels do nowadays.

What I wan't to see though is some real character emotion between not only the autobots, but the decepticons as well. In the last movie they were just scary bad guys who grunted a lot, this time I wan't to see some real interaction. Have the constructicons despise the war and megatrons ideals. After all in the beginning the constructicons were actually good scientists until megatron corrupted them with thoughts of power and evil. Have tidal wave fight the autobots and when all seems lost the constructicons would combine and fight the enormous Tidal wave. Sure it would look like a crappy Godzilla fight, but who else could take on a being that monstrous? He'll obviously destroy tidal wave, but just as he has assured victory megatron will (somehow) kill him for treachery. He'll die and the autobots will remember his honorable decision to fight for what you truly believe in (awww a message to the kids).

I have also stressed this one idea through many of my posts and that is to have Starscream fight megatron in an aerial battle over the ocean while the navy and airforce try to take them both out in the process. They could use the aircraft carriers as mini islands to land on and fight both verbally and physically (fists and weapons).

The Autobots are helping a repair a bridge while ratchet is trying to raise reinforcements, including a tracker, with an improvised signal amplifier connected into Bumblebee. He is telling Spike about life back on Cybertron. We get flashbacks to how the war started (A rebellion against the quintessons, that eventually split into civil war once those who would become the Autobots saw how Megatron was running things.) Primes origin (rebuilt after Megatron kills him once he uses him for information) and Megatrons origin (popular rebel leader, strongman, self modification). Ratchet finally raises Hot Rod, Blaster (who can track Decepticon radio signals) and Kup (on accident). Meanwhile, Starscream and barricade recover megatrons body from a military outpost at night. Starscream is trying to salvage parts to become stronger, when Soundwave appears (out of nowhere). He stops Starscream. He tells him he came because Megatron automatically signaled him when he was reactivated. Shockwave is disappointed Megatron lost, repeals sStarscreams command. When sStarscream asks who is in command, Soundwave replies: Megatron. Soundwave has signaled The Constructicons who are on their way. He is also aware of the Autobot reinforcements. Blaster and Kup arrive. Their first job is to find Hot Rod, who did not rendezvous. They find him doing street races. Blaster realizes the Constructicons are coming to Earth. Autobots realize they are here to rebuild Megatron, and Blaster begins tracking as fast as he can. Constructicons arrive, and are introduced. They disperse to get the necessary parts to repair Megatron..and build something else. Blaster breaks through some of Soundwaves attempts to hide their movements. The Autobots try to stop them, but Soundwave always shows up to aid each Constructicon and they get away.
We learn from Blaster about Soundwaves background (scientist who defected to deceptions and is loyal to Megatron). Blaster is trying to locate Decepticons while Hot Rod speeds off to go look himself. Kup follows.
Constructicons begin repairing Megatron near the cyclotron at Berkeley, since it covers their signals (uh I get some license right…?). They give Megatron an earth form. Soundwave suggests magnetic projectile weapons…railguns. He also glances at the designs…and copies them for himself. Meanwhile, Starscream is plotting how he can sabotage and steal Megatrons new weapon by speaking with Scavenger. They are found by Hot Rod, who is being tracked by Laserbeak. Rumble ambushes Hot Rod and Starscream captures him. Starscream as wary, as he thinks Soundwave may be on to him know. Kup observes this all from a distance and signals Prime. Soundwave picks this up and notifies the other Decepticons to defend until Megatron is repaired. Autobots find Constructicons repairing megatron. In the heat of battle, Starscream tries to steal Megatrons new weapon. Megatron awakens and feebly tries to cast him aside. Soundwave stops Starscream from damaging Megatron again. He performs the last necessary repairs and begins to escape with Megatron. The Autobots move to stop this but are blocked by the Constructicons. Prime comes in to give them a licking, but they converge to form Devastator. Hot Rod makes a run at them, but fails. Kup tries to improvise using the environment (like rockslide or something). Devastator is falls into the SF bay, where we think he drowned, but stands up due to his large size, and climbs up the Golden Gate Bridge, breaking it in the process. Prime battles him and defeats him. As Prime climbs up the damaged bridge, weakened, Megatron, watching from a distance, turns and gives him a parting shot from his new railgun artillery alt form. Prime is now severely wounded. As Ratchet is trying to save him, Ironhide orders Bumblebee and Blaster to get anyone they can to Earth. Starscream flies off to find Megatron. The movie ends with Soundwave informing Megatron and Starscream that he began protocol to build [important weapon/portal/extractor/somthing] but now that the Constructicons are gone, chances of completion are contigent upon their rescue. Megatron notes Soundwave followed protocol while Starscream did not, and asks if Soundwave can complete the [important weapon/portal/extractor/something] himself. Soundwaves takes the new data in and replies “if necessary resources are obtained, chances of success are 98.7%”.

Now its set up for a third movie. This took me like two hours yesterday before I even read this board. It was already typed, so sorry for the long post.

SS escapes and builds the Combaticons using more modern military vehicles.

Swindle could actually be cool this time instead of a crummy red sports car...

It starts with starscream flying to space.He seek help from the other decepticons which is Cyclonus,Demolisher,Thundercracker and Soundwave.Back on earth,it turns out tht the humans who are sinking all the decepticons had been spied by Soundwave.Soundwave then send a signal and suddenly,the ship transforms into Tidal Wave.They both killed everyone and took Megatron's body.The Autobots then find out about the incident by the president.But then,two meteors came and crashlanded at an open field.Ratchet went there to investigate the crisis.It turns out that the meteors were Hot Shot and Landmine.Shocked,Ratchet urges them to meet at Sam's house.At Sam's house,Landmine and Hot Shot told the Autobots that they were supposed to reach Earth at the same time with the rest.However,they got delayed and thus reached longer.Meanwhile,Cyclonus,Demolisher,Thundercracker,Sounwave and Tidal Wave are in vehicle mode,hiding from sights.They are waiting for the signal that Starscream was to sent them.Starscream was busy in space resurecting Megatron.He somehow got a piece of the All Spark and resurect Megatron back to life.They both then went to Earth.Meanwhile,back on Earth,Ratchet sensed the presence of a Decepticon around the area.True enough,Soundwave was there,hearing the autobots attack plans.He then retreats and informs the others about what he had heard.Suddenly Starscream gave all of them the signal to attack.In a flash,the decepticons transforms and attacked Mission City.Sooner,the Autobots arrived.Hot Shot quickly shoot at Cyclonus who was destroying an office building.He was however,completely unaware of Demolisher who was right behind him and ambushed Hot Shot.After being defeated,Hot Shot screams for help.Optimus and Ironhide quickly help Hot Shot.They both defeated both Decepticons and managed to kill Demilisher but Cyclonus transforms and fled.Thundercracker was single-handedly fighting Ratchet and Landmine.Surprisingly,Thundercracker won and was about to kill Landmine but Bumblebee attacked Thundercracker.Optimus then quickly took his sword and impaled Thundercracker.Soundwave then attacked the weakened Hot Shot but Ironhide came in just in time to blast him of with his cannons.Soundwave then countered with a blow and Ironhide almost lost but Bumblebee blast Soundwave until he died.However,Tidal Wave appeared out of nowhere and attacked the whole city.Captain Lennox and his team arrived.Then,jet planes also appears and started attacking Tidal Wave.The Auto bots were also blasting Tidal Wave.*Note tht Tidal Wave is about twice the size of Optimus in this movie.Their shots were powerful but Tidal Wave felt nothing.To make things worst,Starscream and the just resurected Megatron arrived.The Autobots could not believe their eyes and was caught offguard.Tidal Wave quickly blasts off Landmine,Ratchet,Ironhide and Bumblebee.Optimus tried his best but Starscream just blast him off.Though greatly weakened,Hot Shot Battled Starscream.Starscream defeated him easily.Optimus then awakened and with full force,blasts Tidal Wave's head.Tidal Wave then falls off.He is still alive but now greatly weakened.Optimus took full advantage of this.He signalled Bumblebee to shoot down Starscream.Stunned,Starscream was caught offguard and Optimus quickly took his sword and slashed his arms and finally,his head.Angered,Megatron fought the autobots while Ratchet was recovering Hot Shot.Minutes later,Hot Shot was back to normal.However,Megatron was not as powerful as Starscream did not give him enough powers.He then noticed Tidal Wave is still alive but helpless.He quickly combined with Tidal Wave and became Galvatron,who was the same size as Tidal Wave.The Autobots did their best but were unsuccesful.Landmine then grabs Galvatron's leg and tried to blast his head.Not only did he lost his shots,but he had also lost his life when Galvatron picked him up and tore of his head.These angered Optimus as his comrade was killed in front of his eyes.Galvatron laughs and call Cyclonus who was still alive.Cyclonus defeated Bumblebee and was about to kill him when Optimus impaled him and killed him.Angered,Galvatron destroys everything in his sights.Sam then arrives and apologize for being late and told them tht he and his dad was busy making a cannon which he calls it the Matrix Cannon.He gave it to Optimus and Optimus soon blasts Galvatron.Though weakened,Galvatron would not give up so easily.He spotted Bumblebee,weakened after Cyclonus's atttack and blasts his head off.Optimus,who saw this was incredibly angry.Sam could not believe his eyes as he saw his partner being shot down and killed.Optimus then shoot Galvatrons head and killed him with the Matrix Cannon.After being defeated,Galvatron's body exploded,destroying everything around him.It was fortunate tht the Autobots managed to escape with Ratchet and Hot Shot taking Bumblebee and Landmine's body.Optimus then said sadly"First it was Jazz.Now Landmine and Bumblebee.Sam,if it wasn't for you who came up with this wepon,we would be done for.We may had lost 2 more comrades.But we are still indebted to you.Landmine and Bumblebee,you both had fought bravely in this battle."Optimus then took both's body and put it in Sam's garage.Inside,was Jazz body."The movie ends with Optimus saying that his comrades had sacrifised their life to end the war.Their death had not been in vain.Then,the movie ends.*Hot Shot then replaced Bumblebee and stayed with Sam.

Took the words right out of my mouth, Definetly a more darker setting and focus more on the bots and less of the humans.
