Today, me and my friend went flea market hunting and we both got quite the hauls!

For 65$CAN total, my friend got:

A brand new Earthrise Airwave.
Incomplete but still in good condition G1 Kup, Scourge, and Nosecone.
Then, a gobots Rocklord and a small Loco and a small car.
Plus some vintage 1984 rectangle thing that become a wheelie drone of some sort.

On my end, I found 2 2-packs of 2001 Spy-Changers, sealed, at 20$CAN each.
Plus an G1 Galvatron in great condition but without accessories for just 10$CAN.
Then some random 1984 LJN transforming boat, missing only 1 cannon for just 5$CAN.
A scrap G1 Trailbreaker that I may be able to repair for 5$CAN and a scrap BW bat ting for fifty cents.
And finally, a childhood grail, a Tonka Sectaurs Trancula with its rider, Skulk for 35$CAN! Even if it obviously has no harness nor weapons, that price was an insane deal for how clean and unbroken the spider and its rider are.

Today was a good day.

Yup. I could do that, but in person he's quite nice looking. The real pain would be to try and hunt down all the accessories at a reasonable price. No way I'm paying 40$ each pieces.

And unlike Hoist, the cover of the pick-up truck is not partforming, making it hard to lose.
Now, to find or to make some fists...

Oh, and about that haul, me and my friend got lots of G1 transformers (incomplete but in overall good condition) at 5 to 10$CAN each. However, the same vendor have a RTS Lugnut, missing two wing pieces and most likely his missile too, for... 150$CAN.
Make it make sense.

Hey, your friend got himself a Marchon Mysterian! CliffsNotes version (full story): This is the toy line that Knickerbocker was going to produce and incorporate some Takara Mini Bots into (mainly Bumblebee if the theories are true, but I think it was Bandai's Bug Bite), they even created the designs for Huffer, Brawn, Gears (who all have a big "M" sculpted in them) and Windcharger. Hasbro ended up buying Knickerbocker and the line got cancelled (as well as a cartoon and comic), but not before Takara got those Mini Bots. Marchon ended up with the rights at some point and the blocky "The Secret Force" (originally "The Hidden Force" by Knickerbocker) got released along with some original bots.

Then some random 1984 LJN transforming boat, missing only 1 cannon for just 5$CAN.

And that's an LJN SwitchBots. I've got that one and a yellow hazmat truck. They're actually combiners, there should be a chest plate to go with him, two trucks form the feet and two jets form the arms. These are the "Evil Bots", there's also a set of "Good Bots". The individual bots are pretty cheap loose on eBay, but the combiner parts are not. Incidentally the good bots ended up in different colors at release. The orange tank and the police car both became red and the center firetruck became blue (probably to not look so much like Grapple).

Those LGN combiners looks horrible... I do want them, but the overall price may be scary.

Today is my D-Day! So here's my gifts haul:

I got 3 comfy towels, some shirts, lots of food for mom (as always), some import candies, a bear-thing that is way better than anticipated, two now ILLEGAL to import in Canada cans of Tamiya spray paint, and Leader Overcharge!

I have one more Overcharge that is coming tomorrow thanks to a surprise Amazon.ca sale, and a third one is coming too! A trio of Overcharges with Blitzwing as their leader leader will look pretty damn boss.

Haven't gotten anything in a while. Most recent is Alchemist Prime from Pulse. He's actually the first Prime I've gotten from the line, other interests have kept me from buying a lot of Transformers.

The ban is specific to the Tamiya brand in this instance because it uses a banned chemical (I'm guessing as a propellant). I say specific to Tamiya, but it goes for any similarly made spray paint, they're just the most recent to be targeted for using it (almost a year now by the looks of it).

Anyway, found the color changing Hot Wheels Tracks car at Walmart tonight. Weird that he of all characters is abundant while Prime and Bumblebee are rare.

Also, I got Tracks at a different Walmart from the one I usually go to near work, it did not have the big collection display and no exclusives on the shelf.

Well with Scavenger I'm at 5 of the 6 Constructicons. I can't find Mixmaster anywhere. These big displays that everyone is posting at Walmart don't exist at the three locations I've checked. Hopefully soon.

Extreme retool of Studio Series 86 Blurr but to the extent that he feels like his own mold.
