I know this thread is for Dr. Wu's product, but just so folks know, fakebusker83 of TFW2005 also has designed blades for TFP OP via Shapeways. There are two versions.

TFP (FE) Optimus Prime Upgrade set

TFP (FE) Optimus Prime Upgrade set (rotating blades)

I'll pass on the Shapeways blades. I'm down with painting and all, but it's a real pain to get silver to look right (I don't use sprays, only acryllics so no chrome for me). It does look neat though.

I like them. I want them. But what's going on with trying to get Dr. Wu products? I know his stuff isn't exactly groundbreaking but some of it's kind of vital for the perfect finishing touches. Most of the online retailers have bugger all and even RobotKingdom has none of the PRIME upgrades listed. Does anyone know of a retailer with good Dr. Wu listings please?

Acestoystore has started carrying Dr. Wu, right now they have the Max Power blasters and Wheeljack kit. I ordered the Max Power blasters Saturday morning and they were in my mailbox yesterday!

Do they look and feel like a quality product? I was kinda tempted by them. It's no secret I've been pretty vocal against Dr. Wu's stuff. These look decent though. I'm curious to hear your two cents. Oh and that turnaround time is plenty fast!

The quality is good, but they are straight up KO's of the FE Prime blaster. They come molded in white plastic (resin?) and painted metallic silver with aqua blue details. Don't really have any complaints. I would also add that I picked regular first class shipping and still got them that fast.

Thanks for all the pics. I really appreciate the info. It looks like I'm skipping them. That underlying white reminds me of chrome that has lost the well, chrome. I'd like some really quality weapons for Prime. Better than what he already has. These aren't what I'd hoped for. Again, thanks though.
