Here's a question for you:

If you were going to leave a doc MOSC, which would you leave on card? I had originally bought one, left it on card, but then tried to get another, which will be in the next run of figures. Assuming I get mine, which would be the more 'precious', or valued version? The original run which ran short on production, or the new version with better poseability?

This is garbage. I knew, KNEW, this would happen. I sent both of my cards in way before the deadline. I hate to use this word but I feel I'm entitled to one of the first production runs. I don't want a second edition one even if he can move his arms like a normal person. Hasbro goes after people on eBay who sell Megatrons without a damn plug but won't do a thing about someone buying 7 of a non troop builder figure knowing they're going to sell them on the net for a profit. I'm tempted to call Hasbro and ask them to track one of these scalpers down for me, something tells me though the answer would be no.

The only figure that I have been looking for as of late in the G.I Joe line and haven't been able to find is the Cobra B.A.T. I saw one at my local tru and I was reaching for it this guy grab it right out form under me and I haven't seen him since. I just wanted to get that off my chest now I feel better.

Now in my TRU the Joes used to be in the same isle as the generic nerf guns. I would've grabed one of those suckers and lit him up foam dart style.

Well that's what I'm here for. Sometimes we need a bit of levity and I have a cornucopia to share. Speaking of Nerf and relating it to joe I will go on record now and say this time next year we will be talking about the repainted Vulcans being sold as Roadblocks gun. That's what they did with their N-Strike Bazooka and the Hulk movie.

You're right. I don't know why I put down the wrong figure when I had looked at the picture up close. Maybe the cape made me think of the other one when I posted.

I can't wait to see these figures in stores. They look pretty cool.

Well yesterday, after months of waiting, my 25th Anniv Doc mail-in came. I haven't opened him but he does come with the new forearms instead of the infamous forearms with the Duke wrists. He still has the diaper critch though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but those arms still don't bend to 90 degrees right?

I wouldn't know. I've yet to take him out. But from closer observation, his arms look like they may be able to bend 90 degrees.

Hopefully mine are on the way since it seems everyone else is getting theirs. I wonder if the lack of a 2009 mail away has anything to do with the demand that Doc got.

Not sure if this is old news. Check your Targets fans. They have the new exclusive adventure packs The one I saw came with a helmeted Cobra Commander, Silver Iron Grenadiers Destro, Hiss Tank Driver, Black Cobra Trooper, Sgt. Stalker w/ JUMP Jet pack, Steeler, and Short-Fuze. It also included the MOBAT, Red Hiss Tank, and a Trubble Bubble. It retails for 65$. Considering you get 7 figs and 3 vehicles, this ones a steal. Happing Hunting.

I must say I like him. The figure looks awesome. The only thing I don't really like is the command skirt, unless it'll allow the figure to sit, and that it looks like the right hand is balled into a fist again. It's a bit too dark for me to tell though so hopefully one of you will notice.
I like the look of the helmet, and the cool little gun. They made the sword's tip flat. I hope that's not the final version of the sword as it looks weird. Does it look like the cape is molded plastic to anyone else?

I was browsing Mike’s forgotten figures and I believe it has dawned upon me what the 25th HISS Commander is an homage to: the unreleased HISS Driver from 03.

Call me slow, but did anyone else notice this? I had just assumed it was something original, but after seeing the undeniable resemblance here, I suppose not.

I have a new appreciation for this figure knowing this.

I caught it a few months back when reading a review of the Joe Con set. I thought everyone knew so I didn't mention it. I would've liked to have seen him come with the Shotgun as well as pistol but you can't have it all. When it comes to Joes and TF's I live by the rule that everything is based off of something that came before since Hasbro lives by the rule of "If it made money once..."

Well i finally found Cartoon-accurate Zartan, Flint disguised as a Cobra Trooper, and the Para-Viper. Also picke dup some more Snow Serpents and BATs. I must admit, I like the Para-vipers design. No sign of the DVD 5-packs, Mutt & Junkyard, Wraith, Croc Matser, and Tracker. I really want to find more Eels and Para-Vipers, but I'm getting this feeling retailers around here have been holding the stuff back mostly in anticipation of the Holiday shopping season, that or the shipments keep getting abducted by coyotes. My wallet is gonna get hit hard come this holiday season. These Grunt figures just keep getting better with each wave.

The paraviper is one of my favorites from the whole line. Not a classic, but still an awesome figure.

And we are flooded with the revision wave around here, and no new stuff yet. I got mine from BBTS a couple weeks back, though.

It kind of sucks because my areas been clogged with revisions. All I've seen of Wave 10 is Mutt & Junkyard, and only because he's been put into revision cases.
I think my favorite out of Wave 13 has to be the Cobra Trooper, followed by Blowtorch. I plan to get a few of the Trooper, and 1 each of Blowtorch, Cobra Commander(Who I'm glad has two open hands), and Duke.
