This past weekend we went to Coast Con 30 which is Biloxi, Mississippi's yearly Science Fiction & Fantasy Convention.
The main media guest was Noel Neil, who portrayed Lois Lane in the original Superman seires.

Here are some pix from the event.

So... You're married. You have two kids. You work. And yet you still have time to wear a costume and go to a convention. I'm envious.

Well the whole family went. Me and my wife are in the pix with Noel Neil and I have pix of both of my daughters and the oldest is even wearing a costume.
It was a mini vacation for us so to speak.

Yup homemeade.
My wife made the Outer and inner tunics, obie and tabards.
I bought the pants, boots, leather belt gloves and belt pouches (the latter has yet to arrive) from various vendors on ebay.

ahh the evil of ebay, constant source of just about everything lol

also this has made me seriously consider doing something specail for halloween, already talked about doing a FF7 theme with my flatmates.

I besides going to cons and wearing it for Halloween I am joining the 501st and will be trooping with my local garrison in the Anakin costume.
