Yes, it's kind of amazing what being put in realistic colors instead of the G1 Constructicons' Hulk-ripoff colors does for it. Makes me wonder what giving Steamhammer a similar treatment would do.

A second beater Hunt for the Decepticons Leader-class Starscream. Now I can make my own clay impression of the head (was that really so much to ask?) to cast a replacement head for the first with.

Aside from missing the head cover panel, this one is more intact than the other one I've got (the other one has a damaged foot in addition to the missing head) and has the US electronics, so I'll be keeping this one as Starscream and turning the first one I had into Thundercracker. If I had the equipment to cast the canopy in a different color I might do Slipstream, but I don't.

Leader HFTD Starscream is one of the best BayScream ever. Interchangeable position between the SS voyager. Too bad for the missing panels, but I'm sure you will manage to find them.

And if not, they shouldn't be too bad to make facsimiles of. Especially since the currently-headless one does have them (altho I'll probably transfer them to this one and get/make the replacements for that one) for me to reference from.

Agreed about him being one of the best if not the best. Similarly, Battle Blade Bumblebee from the same line remains one of the best Bayformer Bees we've ever had.

All I need to take are the panels. Given that, I plan to fix up the headless one and turn him into Thundercracker (based on the DOTM Deluxe)

Got some weird UFO of a Transformer, the Hasbro Asia exclusive JD Red Knight!

I always loved the AoE Voyager Galvatron mold. So when I happened upon JD for around the same overall price as a current brand new voyager (shipping not free but eh), I jumped on it.

Too bad no gun was made for him and he could use some more paint aps. Still, the remolding is extensive and JD looks awesome.
Plus as a delivery boy, his backpack makes sense.

The truck is also magnificent and transformation is a breeze.

I never expected to ever own him! :shock:

I got lucky finding this at a reasonable price at AliExpress. Yes, legit Toys can be found over there, but it's pretty rare at normal prices.

On top of my head I think there's only one "fake" of this mold and it's.... Captain America! :lol:

Got a couple very important things. I at long last have obtained the deluxe Dark of the Moon Leadfoot toy, meaning my original trio is now complete and I now own every movie Wrecker mold ever made!

I also secured reproductions of the remaining 4 G1 guns I needed, so my G1 bots are now all complete!

Also got a couple black series in there too

Today I had a surprise pickup. At the local surplus and salvage shop I found a Siege Voyager Optimus Prime for only $16. It was in two large aisles of recently stocked "internet retailer" surplus which is usually code for stuff Amazon got rid of, usually anything from random car parts to toner cartridges to misc. electronics to random DVDs, can't say I expected a Transformer in this (aside from the junk transforming RC cars). Box is basically perfect and unopened and will likely stay that way.

Iguanas is... well... basic.
Terragator is a shameless partsformer. But figuring out how the thing transform was a nice challenge. Also, nice biting gimmick!

So today I got the Netflix "Spoiler" Megatron pack in, incidentally my first experience with the Siege Megatron mold.

I like him, but I feel he could be better. The paint definitely helps (he looks gorgeous with that silver) and he does have some cool stuff going on, but I feel like his articulation is a bit clumsy, and also some of the tolerances make transformation oddly tricky. Also his gun-sword-thing is a bit "eh" (though nowhere near on par with the useless chunk that comes with ER Megs). He sort of feels more like a big Deluxe than a Voyager, if that makes sense? Like he could be more refined. Not a bad figure by any stretch, and purple Paleotrex is cool, but I'm glad I only paid £40 for the set.

Been debating ever since this got announced but I traded in my Earthrise figure to have even more of an excuse to get this one. Having him in hand, I'm glad I did. Plus, he's my favorite character, so to have a full coronation set that's not 3D printed is awesome to me. Long live the king!
