There are reports of a Prince of Persia movie To be Directed by Guess Who? Our favorite Micheal Bay whose new tag line is "Micheal Bay F'n up franchises one movie at a time."

That movie could be all kinds of awesome.

I'll have links up later I just saw reports on television but I know a website where they mentioned it. But I was not interested enough, till I heard of Bay's "involvement"

I'm already fearing for this franchise.

Dude, get over the Bay Hating. He's done good movies and bad. And you haven't even seen anything from this! It's easyto change everything from Transformers, it's probably very difficult to change Prince of Persia.

Especially since they're doing Sands of Time, which is still one of my all-time favorite games ev4r.

If theres a way to change it Bay will find it. Bay had no Interest in TF's and you see what he's done with that. I seriously doubt he knows anything about the source material. this will be his first Period movie that means no cars, no rediculous astrophysics his hands are tied I seriously believe its hard as hell for a director to interpret a movie based on something he could care less about and the movie turn out good.

Demonic creatures born from sand, the ability to stop and rewind time, huge acrobatics and fight scenes....He sounds perfect to me.

I personally think that Michael Bay is a horrible director, one of the worst in the business, up there with Ang Lee and Uwe Boll. I'm not just saying that because Bay is directing the Transformers movie. No, I think he's horrible because of Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys II, and Armageddon.

I wish he would stop making movies and killing the art of directing.

Amen Can we as a collective get off this mans Jock. he's yet to produce One movie that makes a bit of sense let alone good. The One thing he does well is blow stuff up that doesn't make a good director it makes a good stunt coordinator. Sorry if I don't fit into Americas Lowest common denominator and wish for a day when movies are not big and dumb. until that day I have one thing to say. Yo Ho! take that however you want to.

Youve got moxi kid I'll give you that but you might want to check out a few film classes to see How "Good" action movies were and still are in some cases really done.

I don't watch action movies to learn something, to look at the world differently, because some all-new, all-inspiring philosophy has suddenly been imparted on me.

I go to action movies to be entertained by guns, boobs, explosions, and car chases. That's why "Action" movies get the name "Action."

Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Predator, 300, Black Hawk Down, THOSE are action movies.

I'll admit that I occasionally just see action movies for there nonsense but it makes me realize the directors, actors, producers, and/or DPs are a bunch a jokes.

Oh I forgot to add Paul Anderson of directors that need to be forced into retirement.

And to this we'll agree to disagree on the merit or purpose of "action" movies. as well as bay ability to direct. Hell afater all there are some people who think Keanu Reeves can act. Matter of time before he's announced to star in PoP.

TO ENTERTAIN.

Though I know this movie will suck, no matter how much they'll try, the movie will fail.

The best video game turned movie was the first Mortal Kombat which was alright as an action movie but overall as a piece of cinema, it sucked.

Also the last video game movie Bay had anything to do with was Double Dragons.

Now who wants to take me up on my bet that they'll get Colin Farrel or some other white boy to play the prince?

Though I must say, physically Farrel does kind of fit the role but he lacks the typical facial features of an Iranian. Being that there are no big name Middle-eastern actors that even look slightly the prince.

The only guy I see pulling off the prince has to be Oded Fehr, I mean he had the look of the prince in the Mummy movies but now he may be a little to old.
