Those are different lines though, they are not SS slots.
True! I just wondered if, for marketing reasons, HasTak doesn't want too many dinobots on shelves to confuse the kids. I'm no expert of course, I don't know how HasTak does their business either...

Well, both SS86 and AOE Grimlock are well out of circulation, SG is an online exclusive, and G2 is a Walmart exclusive, so I wouldn't be worried about too many Grimlocks
I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please! Wanna talk? Or Rollerblade? Click below and head on over to the D-Max Den!!
DeathReviews wrote:All the pictures and reviews of Barricade make him look like a dumpster fire in robot mode. Not that I was planning to ever get one. But that, and Prime's flaws, does make me worry what they're going to with the Megatron voyager.
Prime ain't too bad, but that Barricade suffer from kibble cancer. They could have made things a bit differently.

Some fans thought that those initial images of Studio Series Gamer Edition Optimus Prime showing exposed arms/hands in the back were due to early copies that were missing pieces. Well, Emgo has gotten a MISB copy and we get to see that this is indeed the look we are going to get. He goes into great depth in this review, showing the transformation, matrix chamber and so on. Enjoy!

Oh, that head. No. It's so TINY in comparison to the rest of his body. That's the only thing that I really don't like about it. It looks like a decent figure, otherwise.
Those hollow parts and that unforgivable goatse in truck mode grinds my gear. But I'll still buy that Optimus because he still seems fun to handle and I KNOW some smartasses will come up with upgrade kits to fix the kinks.

Thing is, he was a pinhead in the game too. I love those games, but every time I'd play as Optimus I'd just laugh at his almost microscopic head.
My main complaint is the visible hands in alt mode. They could've easily found a way to cover those. I swear, it seems like most of the time when they're giving us what we've been wanting, they have to have some major flaw. Can't ever be 100% smh.

I can understand little kinks like some backpack or hollow inner limbs.
But a whole chunk of vehicle missing is indeed a head-scratcher.

Kinda weird the box doesn't say which game it's from. Still a pass for me as I preferred the other games designs. Heck I'd probably take overly polygon beast wars figures based off the ps1 game over the cybertron games :p

Pause Emgo's video at 0:51. It's written on top of the box.

Meaning a "Premium Repaint"?
Well, it's possible. Based on the track records, so far all the Optimusses have been repainted for the Premium Finish line so I'd be surprised if this one is not.

The Premium Finish line is dead.

How come when there's Beast Wars figures coming and on preorder?
Unless it's just naming semantics?

That's not Premium Finish. That's Beast Wars Again.
For reasons unknown, Premium Finish had its last one-and-a-half waves canceled.

Regardless, the siren call of repaints are too hard for to resist!
Or there's Reprolabels. ¯\_( ͡°ヮ ͡°)_/¯

Lots of fans are getting the new Transformers Studio Series Gamer Edition voyager Optimus Prime in hand and enjoying it. For those who do not have it yet, fans have been finding it at Gamestop stores in Canada and in the US. The toy is also available in online stores, even the Seibertron store. We also have a review of the toy for those who want to know as much as possible about it.

Amazon fulfilled delivery of mine yesterday. Bumblebee & Barricade are still showing for July, but lately Amazon has been shipping individual figures as they get them instead of the whole wave at once.
