The German Transformers Fan Convention from Fans for Fans is back!

The next C.O.N.S. is coming on the 25th of July 2010
This convention will be bigger and better than last year with even more Transformers Action.

The first special guest whom we announce is the comic artist Claude Christ from Luxemburg

He is also known from the SDCC "San Diego Convention Center"

Yes, you are perfectly right.
There'll be a convention exclusive figure at the C.O.N.S.

It is Cobra from Headrobots in prototype colors but in a special convention packaging, with a numbered certificate and a background-story for the character.

Thanks to our member Desastron we now know that the German fan convention C.O.N.S. 2010 will have an exclusive figure.
The figure's name is "Cobra" and is a repaint of the Headrobots Cobra Headmaster, this exclusive version will come in an exclusive collector's box with numbered certificate and a bio.

This is the packaging art and bio:


As the bio is in German we have translated it for you:

Cobra bio wrote:Cobra has always liked the darkness. In snake-mode he creeps up to his enemy without being seen. Advanced heat sensors and sense of touch allow him to hunt even in absolute darkness. Once his prey notices what's happening to him, unless the pitiful Mech somehow manages to escape Cobra's venomous bite which imminently deactivates the enemies electric nervous system, it's already too late.
Even if his prey should escape Cobra can still transform into Head-mode and fuse with it's body to become an even deadlier hunter.

Will these be available on-line from the site or just at the convention?

They will be available at the convention.
Should not all of the figures be sold on the CONS the remaining pieces will probably be sold through the site.

This is the version I must have. It'll be about the only thing i've ever kept M.I.B.

to clarify, these are not new recolors, they are the same gray prototypes pictured on the site.

these will come in similar packaging as the distributors one but with an exclusive card.

we fully endorse small as well as large TF conventions and wish the CONS team much success on their second con, they are wonderful people to work with and have a fantastic german fan-site

Not too interested in this particular release. Bring on Duros for Universe Hardhead.. that's what I'm looking forward to

Now we have own pictures to the C.O.N.S. 2010 Exclusive figure. Prototype of the Cobra by Headrobots is to be seen. We sell this prototype only on the Convention in the exclusive packaging with certificate. A limited number of 50 pieces will be available on the C.O.N.S. on the 25th of July, 2010.

No worries, I'm on a roll today, caught Diem stating that Arcee was the first Fembot ever shown. My wife is a copy editor, so it's hardwired in my brain

Now that's actually very cool.
This package variation of a really good figure will be very rare and even more so since it won't be easy to acquire.
Apart from that the inlay looks very good, too.
I'll definitely get my hands on one of these.
