From my latest Mandarake haul, we will be looking at that black and white box on the right:



It's the GearTribe Hatsune Miku Gt Project 2014 Ver.

The box is in Japanese and English. Clearly meant for the international market.

It's a racing car. The scale is the same as the Transformers Alternators, meaning the standard 1/24 scale. This racing car is the exact same that was used in their race in 2014. That paintjob is absolutely INSANE. The weebest car ever!






Here's how is compare scale-wise with an Alternators Transformers and an old Movie deluxe. Those two race cars although super painted for Transformers and pretty modest compared to the Mikumobile.



Oh, and here's a small feature of this car.

Because why not?

Some partsforming is required but it's only the front bumper and the spoiler.



Transformation is simple yet clever. The parts form Robo-Miku's pigtails. The could have been hand-held axes, but no. Just pigtails.
This fembot have crazy long legs! She's one TALL waifubot. Unfortunately, her hips are loose balljoints and her waist articulation is a stupid, very stupid single ball joint. She's also very top heavy. So, she cannot stand up on her own without falling down like a ragdoll. Fortunately, there is a pretty damn solid figure stand included so, crisis averted.



One flaw is because of her head kibble and pigtails, her "neck" is a bit floaty and the posability of the head is limited. Still, here's is barely any hollow parts and the overall feel of the bot is sexy and cool. The bot was designed by the legendary Shoji Kawamuri. The very same who designed the infamous MP-03 Starscream and so many Macross bots.







Oh, and did I mention that this collab between Shoji Kawamori and Good Smile Company resulted in a bot that did some crazy-ass MASS-SHIFTING?
Animated Lockdown would be jealous.
Here's Mikubot compared to the previous Alternator in bot mode (whose car is the same scale as Miku's), and the Movie bot. Also, while I was at it, I threw in PotP Leader Optimus Prime and the Supreme Class Optimus Primal as well. Mikubot is almost as tall as Primal!



Overall, I like her a lot. Well worth the 3K yen plus shipping that I paid. Too bad it's the only Racing Miku Robot that they ever did. I would have loved to see more of them. Even as simple repaints. Oh well.

If you can find one at a reasonable price, go get her! Mandarake being the #1 place to hunt her down.

That is cool! I kinda wish the robot mode was a bit more elegant (it looks a bit clunkily proportioned IMO) but it still looks good and that car mode is a work of art.

Now you need to get yourself the Virtual-On Fei-Yen Miku figure...

She's also pretty cheap at Mandarake. Worth every cents.

I looked up the Virtual-On Fei-Yen Miku figure. Not too bad but I regret its not the pure robot version.

To go with this Racing Miku 2014 robot I ordered the Banpresto 2k yen "Prize" figure. The Figma is way too small and sell for 10k yen. The big figure is 15k yen at the bare minimum. Beside, the Prize figure will be the perfect size to stand in front of the bot's absurdly long legs.
