Wow. $70 for a figure barely larger SMALLER than an Alternator.

EDIT: Checked the gallery on him. That price is freaking insane.

Yeah,i agree about the price,i'm perfectly fine with my KO Prowl for roughly half the price.

Agreed with the previous posts. Why the heck is Hasbro charging import prices for a domestic release? Given the prices of past releases, I'd expected something in the $35-50 range, but $70? That...just doesn't really feel reasonable.

Unfortunately, the way pricing works, is that a company will suggest the highest MSRP that a certain number of consumers are willing to pay to maximize profits on the product and encourage retailers to buy in. Then add to that the markups that TRU puts on everything (because they hate you) and you get a price like this. It's not just Transformers toys. Every product is priced way beyond their objective intrinsic value, based on utility, demand, R&D costs, quality, etc., because that's what manufactures and retailers can get away with without losing sales. The only remedy is to stop buying products that are overpriced. The problem is that, then you must go without, and with a rare item like MP Prowl, you probably don't want to be without. It's a vicious cycle, and consumers are the eternal losers in the struggle.

MP Grimlock is starting to feel like a steal at $80 now, i mean it just feels like a lot more toy for the $.Not trying to make the OP feel bad,Prowl is a sweet figure.
