G1 colours Starscream I can understand.
A Thundercracker Screamer I understand, & would equally understand a Skywarp repaint.
Deep Space SS I also understand, who doesn't want a shiny Screamer!
And of course we all understand the original version.

Now... what odd, strange, freaky reason can Takara create for making a RED Starscream!?!

(Edit: Takara instead of Hasbro, thanks, I didn't realize it was a Japanese exclusive

I think these are the first images of a metallic legends Bumblebee, knowing that there’s a legends version of almost every movie figure, I hope we get a voyager desert blackout.

Didn't you have to buy a really expensive DVD player or something to get that Red Starscream? I want Red Starscream!

We saw the red screamer a while back, and yes I believe that Red Starscream is some kind of exclusive. Toshiba maybe? not sure. You buy I think a Blue Ray DVD player and TV, and you get the Red Screamer.

You get the promotional Starscream from Toshiba when you purchase the new RD-A301 HD DVD recorder. ($895)

It's an HD DVD player that can record HD content onto standard DVDs. Basically a really nice DVR with a 300GB HDD. It's a really sweet machine.
