Touched on this in another post, but it was interesting enough for me to give the topic its own thread.

We have seen, custom smockstacks and trailers for Prime, upgrade gun acc. kit for Megs, who would buy a Coronation kit from Justitoys for MP Screamer.

I am thinking Crown, shoulder armour and the cape plus any other armour to beef him up the way he was rendered in that scene.

Suggestions for this kit? Pros? Cons? Would you pick one up for the same pricetag as the Megs upgrade?

I would buy it for sure, however I would expect it to be cheaper than the Megs kit, because it would contain less material and not have functional features like the gunstock. $30 US would be reasonable to me.

I think the crown, shoulder armor and cape would be enough.

Won't bother with one even if its dirt cheap. Never think it looks that cool in the first place. Crowns and capes are for humans, not blocky robots like the TFs IMHO.

Eh i'll just make my own. All i need is a bit of silk red cloth, get my wife to stitch it up, and make my own crown out of styrene.

I'd buy an entirely new Starscream if he came with the "Decepticon Leader parts"! The part where he gets blown up by Galavtron is my favorite scene from the movie.

As for other things to add .... A better Dr. Archevel for those us us cursed with the Takara version? That can stand? Was there anyone else who actually rode inside him?

A Galvatron in gun mode for irony's sake? Good for cross-toy playing too since Megs should be able to hold him. A little Matrix to recreate that scene from G2? More fun stickers? A replica of Prime's Megatron gun? A CRUSHED crown (like where Galvy steps on it)?

That's about all I can think of offhand. Price should be WAY lower than Megs' kit since, let's face it, there just isn't that much they can ad to Screamer.

Edit: Oh, NEW LEGS! They can add legs that look like the origional prototype to make that "perfect" screamer everyone wants. Pie in the sky, but it's out there.

If I had the g1 version yeah I would buy one it would complete whole look of the figure. All I would need to complete the setup is mp galavtron.

I was thinking about this the other day and Yeah, I would want at least one, maybe two if it was cheap enough. I would get it for sure.

Edit:

I think a cape and a crown and Shoulder "pads" I would want to see the cape in a rich vibrant purple. Preferably fabric, not a plastic sheet like the Mega SCF Starscream.

Considering his size, and the fact there are really only three items in his coronaiton gear, I could not see paying more than 25.

If Justitoys wanted to beef up such an upgrade, how about some of the things he had in the cartoon. Extra weapons.

Personally, I would love to see Starscream getting hold of most of the toy accessories that are out there, like the Matrix, Kremzeek, the sword thing, pistols, guns, his slingshot and the like. Even some extra arm weapons.

I think it would be fun to include energon cubes too.

The starscream coronation pack could be a general small item goodie pack too. I'd pay more for it if it had lots of cool things.

I'd definetly buy a set. But I think the shoulder armour would need to be easily removable for transforming to alt mode.

Here's my thoughts, if they bought it, they could release it with a coronation stand that had a hug decepticon logo in it , and was the place where Starscream finally got owned by Galvatron.. just the coronation garb alone would be cool too.. but in order to justify the price lets, go with an added Base, that can also accomodate the suspension stand (that makes Starscream look like he's flying) that comes in the original starscream release..

now I'm not talking about doing the whole entire platform, just a couple of stairs and a base that Starscream can command his last moments from..

No, I am not. I am not taking market research or anything.

I hope Justitoys is listening though, because clearly this is a hot idea.

I passed on the MP seekers, but if I could reenact Screamers greatest moment I would have to reconsider.

I'd buy such a set in a heartbeat. Actually, a small part of me dares to dream that the reason the Japanese MP screamer is postponed is because they're doing something similar. >_>

Heck, I'd buy him his own display case, and pose him with his arm extended to an imaginary audience. "My fellow Decepticons, as your new leader, I..."

A pass for me. I didn't buy the gun attachments for my MP Megatron and see no point in buying these accessories for Starscream. I plan on displaying Starscream right next to Megs and Skywarp, and he'd look goofy with cape and crown.
