NA's Nordor too. The Planet bot figures might be limited to two "show" characters, within the Transformers line. But the mould has a lot of potential applications in other series.

Unicron wasn't a complete sphere. Cybertron Primus should be used.

It's more a sphere than Unicron is. If you put treads on the bottom of Primus in planet mode, that's basically the Technodrome. In planet mode Unicron is still missing a big chunk of his planet mode, the only way he looks round is if you look at him straight from the front.

Simple workaround:



The Technodrome has a lot of junk at the front. So make the flat side of Unicron, the front of the Technodrome. I say this as Unicron is a lot more likely as a go-to mould reuse than Primus.

Power Ranger Zords are a weird omission from HasTak crossover lines. They are such a no-brainer.

You'd be right if we would talk about a simple repaint with barely any retooing.

I'm talking about some SEVERE modding. Plus the fact that Armada Unicron have flat parts under the planet mean that adding the tank threads would be a breeze.

Yeah, I don't know how TakaraTomy would feel about that. We have friendly Hasbro on one side, and rival Bandai, licensee of Toei's Super Sentai series, back in Japan. I mean it could be done, would just take a lot of ironing.

You know... Maybe they could use those proposed redesigns for Season 2!

They just have to make it Hasbro only. Pretty sure many, if not most, of the Colaborative figures already are.

The collaboratives are either Hasbro only, or Takara only. Takara have the space module thing, the camera thing, the running shoe thing, and so on.
Hasbro have the movies and comic books things.

Both have quite different interests.

So as I like to see rival pairings for bots of all sizes. I got to thinking about a Beast Bot to match his size. A Beast Mode mostly absent from the Beast Era. Also the largest variant of that species too. The, aptly named:

Titansaur





Naturally, being the biggest land dinosaur. The third mode could literally be anything. Lots of figure to spare. Also makes a nice scaling companion piece to TW's blue Whale altmode. They are basically the size equivalent of Beast Era City Bots.

We got the Ark, Cybertron / Galaxy Force Metroplex, and the Nemesis. One more odd and unexpected Titan is not out of possibility.

They officially said the Ark wouldn't be used to make Tidal Wave, but what about Tidal Whale? The shape is entirely there, the torso would form the bulk of the head and body, the legs would be reconfigured into the tail rather than the back of the ship. For Hasbro it would be a simple reskinning or a shared engineering.

But what would the rest of that even turn into? A larger robot for the Ark to go inside so adding Mainframe to the set turns it into a giant nesting robot? That's some Machine Robo Baikanfu stuff and I'm all for it... aside from probably costing around $600.

So with that in mind, I'd divide the rear section of the shuttle into four equal sized bots. An impressive squad of five overall Titan Class figures that would combine into an enormous spaceship.

So we're looking at an 800 dollar HasLab project to which The Ark would attach at the front. I'd still buy it.

I think I may have asked for it in this thread before but just in case...

anyone would be down for a Cybertron lamp? It would be compatible with your standard LED light bulb inside. It would be on a stand that allow the planet to rotate on it's own and silently. The power would be like a normal lamp, meaning the power socket.

Finally, the planet would be a perfect representation of G1 Cybertron, with all it's sculpted details, and it would be the same size as HASLAB Unicron in planet mode without the rings.



Of course, it wouldn't transform. It's a lamp. But when changing the lightbulb inside, you'd have to disassemble some parts, but by doing so, you'd be able to see some interesting interior details and easter eggs that couldn't be seen otherwise.

I'd really love to have such a thing.
