Don't forget to buy the rest of the movie toys as well. Although, I'll probably only get the characters that are in the movie to start with and then pick any others up when they go cheap

P.S. Toymachine, you must have missed my last post! I didn't get the feeling that you were feeling sorry for me! :o

Weapon: Air Rifle
Was in my local WW today. Saw 3 Magnus & Skywarp two-packs.
Sadly I had already spent my money on new amp cables and a new strap, so I'm gonna have to go back later this week to pick one up.

I went into this new Tesco in Telford, and it had an impressive tf display. Stocked Tits, Cl and a load of Alt Bluestreaks.

I WAS going to go to TRU at Merry Hill tomorrow, but now I'm too nackered cos I spent the last 24 hours partying and drinking. So I'll go in a fe weeks instead.
Hope I find something good!

As to some older posts, the best thing to do with white tfs is to have blinds over the windows. My Red Alert and Jazz get about 3 hrs exposure a day tops, and then I close the blinds again. They shine so sparkly white!

And finding Tit Magnus is truly good news. I must own this figure soon. Hold on. If the WWI Op & Megs 2-pack is a TRU exclusive, does that mean we'll get them over here too? :-?

Everyone, thanks for your advice on the Galvatron issue. I think I'll leave him for now.

Movie toys out in Reading? Curses, I wish I'd bothered to go to TRU today. Instead, I just stayed in and read. This just means I have an even harder decision to make regarding this month's purchases; Red Alert reissue, Movie protoforms, or Titanium Rodimus?

O, the fun.

I dont see a Carbombya forum around here...is my noob-ness causing this or am i just stupid?

Sometimes, Carbombya just disappears off the Forum Index. I haven't really worked out what makes it happen. It seems to be a pretty random occurence. It always stays on the menu at the left hand side, though.

Easy.
Red Alert's reissue (IMO) isnt that nice.
The Protoforms are ugly.
Rodimus is a work of art.

Problem solved?

Does anyone know the results of the Wolvo-Albion match?
I need to know them so that I can piss the singer off tomorrow. Her msn name suggests that the Wolves lost though...

I'm not into football either TBH.

The Red Alert Reissue is great! I love mine anyway.
I'd say go for Titanium Rodimus. They are getting in new Titaniums now, so he might stop being stocked.

Oh, and I think that although the protos are among the best of the movie movie toys- not real gear that is- they still ARE nuggets of crap.
Not at all worth £10 a piece. Buy Tit Rodimus and get a cuppa and cake at Druckers instead. Or a MrCrap burger if that's what you like.

Albeit I sometimes support Spurs it's more of a rival thing between my Brother and I - I'm not a major football fan.

Personally I prefer watching the Superbikes or Touring cars.

Back on topic - this weekend I checked my local Woolies for signs of the Ultra Magnus/Skywarp twin pack with no luck. It's not that I want them, but it would have been nice to see them.

I'm still on TF hiatus until June when I'll get Brave Exkaiser then it's back on my MP Magnus hunt.

Hi all! :D

I was in my local Forbidden Planet (Aberdeen) on Saturday and they'd had a delivery on Friday of tf's. The main item of interest to me was the two Masterpiece Megatrons! I didn't think they were too bad on price (for the UK!) at £89.99 each.
I went back later that afternoon and they'd already sold one of them but they still had the other one.
Unfortunately it's a bit too much for me at the moment! :-(

£90'S Not bad - ironically I think that MP Starscream in FP London went for £110! The boxes were badly crushed though - I wonder how they manage to get them so badly damaged?!

As for the e-hobby Ironhide's are both of them MISB? Maybe you could Carbombya one of them here?

Feh. Aberdeen. Lucky bugger. He was £104.99 in Newcastle. Box looked to be in good shape though, it was hard to tell as he was up near the roof. Still managed to sell it though.

As for sports, I don't like football either. Motorsports or ice hockey are the ones I watch. Not regularly, I cant sit there for too long without getting bored. But as for something I can sit and watch all the way through, my violent tendancies for carnage and destruction takes a liking to this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iluTKf9m2Zk

(I dont care if you call me immature, I love carnage  ) Shame its barely shown. Tom Meents (Max D) and Dennis Anderson (Gravedigger) are the best for Freestyle

And for teh Rodimus/Red alert/movie rocks debate, I would say Rodimus. He looks posable, transforms well and isn't a brick. I dont have any of them so I cant say for definate, but I have seen Rod in the box in person and he looks sweet.
