Responding to Will's message from earlier now that I've more time.

And even if you disagree there, you can't deny that she's been out two lines in a row in good quantity and is easily acquired.
I never argued that. She just didn't shelfwarm as people predicted. Hasbro made what seemed like a dumb decision but it didn't backfire, maybe they know better than us.
1. It wasn't completely dumb, they needed her available for the anniversary. 2. She. Lingered. For. Ages. Even if she eventually sold, even if others lingered more than she did in some areas, she still clearly lingered on the pegs longer than most. I've observed that, and based on yours and others' posts I can infer I'm far from the only one to have seen that. And given that, I see "Well she never went on clearance" and "People did eventually buy her" as arbitrary, flimsy excuses to not call her a shelfwarmer.
william-james88 wrote:Pretty sure it wasn't scalpers who bought her these past 5 months and yet she still sold.
Eventually. And I'm not convinced it wasn't, just given the state things are in grumble grumble.
william-james88 wrote:Saying she is the last choice is only based on your anecdotle evidence. Mine counters yours. Therefore there is no actual trend, just different anecdotle evidence.
Except - and I realize I'm arguing semantics - that what I said is that she has obviously been the last choice
for a lot of people. Not across the board, just for a lot of people. That is objectively true. For her to so often be the last remaining non-Cyberverse transforming Transformer (and we're talking 3, sometimes 4 of her) at multiple high-traffic Targets, she would
have to have been the last choice of lots of people. So I wouldn't say yours counters mine so much as qualifies it.

Come on man, it's fallacies like this that make it hard to have a solid conversation some times. You could just look up what wave TR Perceptor was in before posting. I mean this with the best intentions. Even though it may not be 100% crucial, fallacies that are easily looked up will inadvertently weaken any argument you may present.
Okay, so he was wave 4 and not quite the tail end. But I seem to recall that even wave 4 had distribution problems, and I know I've seen complaints of him being hard to get hold of after the fact.
Of course, it doesn't matter since he gets a full release in wave 1. My finals-fatigued brain skated completely over that and only saw the single pack in a later wave.
Given the use of older molds in this line and its odds-and-sods nature, I'm wondering if/hoping we'll see an Overcharge redeco TR Blitzwing or a Scorn retool of PotP Grimlock.
I also look forward to the likely - at least in my estimation - Horri-Bull retool of TR Skullcruncher.
