Do you mean as a voice actor or is he dead?

I know the "Eternal Teenager" is not fairing to well, but he is alive.

If he's gonna be in the films though, well if Welker got shot down, I don't think Kasem(who I realy think is awesome for being a G1 character, especialt in the mist of his schedual and popularity back then) was on the producers mind.

Um, I don't really see the big deal here. It was most likely only going to be a 30 second clip of him anyway. So, I don't really see the harm of either having him or not. Really doesn't make much of a difference. In additon, besides being interesting, the site that the news came from seems to be making a big deal out of something quite minor. In my opinion though, this is a mistake on Howard's agent's part (and no, I'm not a fan of his).

By the way, rumor has it Bumblebee can't talk except through his radio. And when asked how does he communicate, he responds with an XM commercial(I guess they got the plug through GM).

And yes, Casey Casem is still alive. He recently did a promo for XM cause they are replaying his old Top 40 radio shows. He sounds almost the same as he did back then!

He is not courteous to the women he has on his show, he asks extremely inappropriate questions and often pushes or harrasses them to get them to reveal information.

Maybe you don't notice it because we live in a society that tells men it's okay to think they're above women. I don't want to make any assumptions about you since I don't know you but I assure you Howard Stern is a sexist pig animal.

I think He/she is upset that Howard has GOOD LOOKING women on his show, and chicks who use their bodies to get rich. And Howard's the best guy out there for free speech.

Normal Radio SUCKS! It's watered down, censored, bleeped, dumped and FULL of commericals. Lots of radio station's ratings went to hell after he went satilite.
Hell, I'm sick and tired of these radio guys having to say "A-hole" , "F you", and so on. Hell, even scientific words are bleeped these days and since the FCC's 'decentcy crusade' after Janet's titties popped out on TV in 2004, radio's been crap.....so what in the name of god damn hell is so great about regular radio?

Sorry, but guys like Imus, Oppy & Anthony, Rover, Mancow, Drew & Mike, etc are all a bunch of chumps who never made me laugh. Here in Detroit, the station Stern was on went through 3 or 4 different morning guys cause each one sucked worse than the other.

George Noory or Bell would be cool to hear on the radio in the film, though.

Misgyny specifically calls for the hatered of women, but, in terms of objectifying, I'm not sure what you mean. Comments like "Nice ass" and "Hot rack" barely qualify as anything other than complements in between rather regular discussion, and any of Sean Connery's old James Bond movies fall far closer to any chauvinist back-seating of women than anything I've seen with Stern.

I personally don't see how porn objectifies women, if that is your angle-- if a woman is smart enough to realize she can get hundreds of dollars from any male by just flashing her breasts, that's pretty empowering, isn't it? It's actually a bit demeaning to men. I'll admit many pornstars are actually about as dumb as rocks, but if anything it's just an individual doing a service for another individual. They manage their own careers and are not treated as items or subjected to it unwillingly.

And seriously, how can he be racist if his co-host for the past who knows how many years is a black woman? If he were racist, I doubt the relationship would last that long.

and for porn stars being dumb though.....if they can more more money doing something they enjoy than someone who bene through years of schooling, working till they drop and for probably not nearly as much money.....that's pretty darn smart I think.

And yes, I doubt Robin's and Howard's profesisonal and personal relationship wpuld have lasted at all if he here a racist. And him being Jewish, I am sure Howard himself had to deal with predjudice in his life as well. I hear anti-semitism from half of my relatives each time I visit them

Howard Stern on Transformers sounds just about as good as 'N Sync Boys on Stars Wars.

Meh. I'm getting too used to the Philosopher's Forum-- I'm starting to depend on long-winded discussions and ample reasoning.

I've basically said what I wanted, and believe people are entitled to their opinion, though to expect confrontation for near anything is basically a requirement of online posting, if not life in general. Not much more to be said from me... though you might have to beware of Howard Stern in a libel suite... ...
