How can I obtain the ability to buy weapons? I think it's either skill or firepower. Which one should I upgrade?

(Also, some weapon suggestions would be appreciated.

You don't really need either to purchase basic weapons (unless they're all sold out...)
But yeah upgrading FRP and SKL will allow you to 'unlock' & purchase other weapons.

As for advice... if you're still level 0 or proably even a level 1, save your money.

Also I'm not sure there are any worthwhile weapons that aren't sold out.

Someone much smarter than I will be around to explain things in greater detail.

so, otherwords, wait till I'm a higher level, so that better weapons are open for purchase?

Plus are there wrist blades, rocket launchers, gatling guns, or energy cannons in the weapon stock?

rocket launchers and gatling guns are, wrist blades aren't, and the energy cannons could be.


and yes the only decent weapon not sold out are the Energon crossbows, and gatling guns

there are also quite a few shite weapons sold out.

Can level 0's get Gatling Guns though? (Cuz if so, I'm gonna equip Spiderbot with one. If not, then, hopefully, I'll eventually get him one. I also want to get Metalia a energy cannon.)

No. read the link; it clearly says you need 10firepower, and 3 skill to wield a gatling cannon.

dang! Well, I guess I'll have to make due with a sword or something.

you will actually do more damage without one

The general opionion is that having 3 strength will do more damage than most lvl 0 and lvl 1 weapons anyway, and also allows you to wear armour.

If you want a respectible good weapon to use that is within youre grasp I will give you 5k and tell you to upgrade by 1 frp then when the time is right I'll sell my heat seeking laser blasters so you can buy them ,
However this only works if you go on at the same time as me and im not just writing about anything i see.

Edit: AND I can't give you 5 k cause youre a bot not a con!!!

hi folks, fairly new here at HMW. but i'm getting addicted to the playing style haha. are all weapons sold out here? i can't find nothing on the Buy Weapons page.

also, is there any sort of guild or alliance that can help fellow newbies like me with energon and/or minicons? thanks!

HSLBs? they're shite. they do the same damage as an x-ray,except their recharge is too long to make the an effective weapon AND you need 1fp to wield them

so yeah, if you're a bot buy them!

You can ask your fellow bots for help (energon, reinforcements, occasionally weapons) in the Iacon Forum. You can also ask for advice there, but its generally quicker to ask in GD - all kidding aside, the con-players know there stuff as well, and after a few rounds of facetious suggestions, will generally give good advice.

Just promise that if we help you currency-wise, you won't touch Battlebeast Gambling, and you'll go easy on the minicon stores.

it's just frustrating to keep my 'mals asses handed back to me by a bunch of cons who don't even have stats and are low XP-wise but have this minicon attached to them that provides like 10k worth of shielding or something like that (like i said, i'm fairly new here )

The change in the sidebar means that you can only get to the Minicon page via a bookmark or typing it in manually, right?

Well, apparently, either non-posting bots are rather naive and think they're gone, technically impaired like me (as I can't get the page to come up right now - which worries me a bit), or, Autobots and Maximals are, in general, too laid back to be troubled with the extra typing/clicking.

Whatever the case may be, when my wife went shopping for them yesterday, they'd piled up - more than I'd ever seen.

What but I was there! We wiped them out, I mean I killed 23 minicons personally not to metion that huge money giveaway for every minicon you kill in darkmount!!!
