One such event occurred near the last few pages of the comic. Anyone else notice those out of place white sparkles on all the characters? Do you think they are subtle plot relevant sparkly effects, or "Whoops I forgot to turn that layer off" sparkly effects? God knows how many times I've done that when about to send something to print

As an artist, my eye tends to go towards things that look like graphical mistakes or shortcuts, so that I may pounce on them with great glee and shout "AVAST YEE SCURVY ABERRATION".

I originally ordered issue 18 for the cover, and my comic shop got 18-20 for me. So I figured why not support my local comic store and get em. Well, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with these issues. They stuck to the plot and held my attention. The writing is worlds better than it had been.
I had a few moments where I legit bought into the story and reacted to stuff. 18 gave me the feels in a good way, must stay I enjoyed the Cygate bits and I enjoyed watching Ratchet and Drift work as a team. Good to see some much needed growth in Rodimus' character too. I read them all this evening so I may share my thoughts some more when my head is more clear.

Totally agreed, it was a powerful page and really took Rodimus full circle. Great way to set up for the final chapters while closing a good number of plots, both actual and thematic.Counterpunch wrote:LL20 Thoughts I felt compelled to put down...
What Rodimus did in that scene was so refreshing, so much in the vein of the classically heroic "Prime" style that was I genuinely happy to see someone just do the right thing, take the moral/heroic high ground. I think the artistic effort in this scene was a fine way to bring Rodimus back around to the noble hero he was when he came before Optimus in Chaos Theory.
I found the commentary about higher powers looking out for some people more relevant to Cyclonus. It was symbolic that he didn't get stabbed due to an interference from "Primus". Sure, it was his a-hole friend's naughty children, but a nice analogy regardless.

A few questions after reading the latest issue:
1. I guess this reveals the truth behind what Skids saw in the portal, but I dont realy get what that truth is. Was it the telepaths guiding the crew here? What was the point?
2. The red scraplets twist had me lost a bit. I mainly read MTMTE/Lost Light, but it says that particular plot point was in a christmas special. Was that special part of the run? Were Whirl's scraplets ever mentioned in the MTMTE/LL book?
3. Was inferno revlead as being on the lost lgiht before this issue? I had not realize he was there.
Also, I would too have liked a longer fight between Star Sabre and Cyclonus, but this was still an awesome moment.
Also, my favourite TF artist has changed. It used to be Milne (for obvious reasons) but now it is Casey W. Coller. Amazing artist.

I think there's still a lot more to 1 than we know. It was a direct reference but not an explanation, imo. Then again, maybe so, and I'm thinking too hard about it!
For 2 and 3, yes. Longer answer for 2, this is the book you're looking for and yes, it's canon: https://www.seibertron.com/comics/view. ... ic_id=1179

Thanks Scott, oh and one more question:
We see different shared illusions happening at the same time (either a prison or the afterlife) so we know its happening in their heads and the world isnt actually physically morphing around them. But then, how come in the footage Rodimus shows us, we see the knights in Cyberutopia. WShouldnt it show the knights walking proudly through the medical clinic instead?

I'd had this thought too, best guess I have is that it's showing what the telepaths fed even if it's not necessarily what those present "saw". This is probably one only Roberts knows for certain.william-james88 wrote:Thanks Scott, oh and one more question:

iTunes Preview for IDW Transformers: Lost Light #21
- Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
Also from IDW Publishing and the iTunes preorder page for the issue, we have a three page preview for the upcoming issue of the Transformers ongoing series Lost Light #21- featuring the continuation of the beginning of the end for this series, as we prepare to get more answers to all the questions asked so far. Check it out, and let us know what you think!
Something is coming. It cannot be stalled. It cannot be avoided. It cannot be reasoned with. As the end of everything draws near, a simple instruction rings out across the universe: prepare, confront, repel. Some people are ready for the fight of their lives. Rodimus and the increasingly shambolic crew of the Lost Light...yeah, they’re really not. Like, at all.

That panel of everyone on the bridge is something I really wanted from day one. Autobots and Decepticons on one ship as one crew. I was very bummed when not one con joined the crew since the war was technically over at the start. I was hoping that would ave happened, especially since RID had some working together

That geobomb is either going to kill every single one of them, or somehow save them. My money’s on it being another geobomb that’ll send them back to the Functionist universe or something.

I think he's just running to the ship like the others. It's a faux panel break, not like his own panel where he's hiding something.

Anyone else starting to think this "Grand architect" is really just a revived Pharma. Pharma had his head blown off and his hands remove. Although Pharma did get his hands back he could be having them replaced. And the vocal synthesizer could be explained through it needing to be retuned to match his original voice. Hope this makes some sense. Oh and Pharma was leading the worldsweeps and sparkeaters in drifts vision.

I dont think so. The grand architect is on a higher level than Tyrest and Pharma was below Tyrest so it would be a huge step up for him.

Stranger things have happened in this comic series so I still wouldn't be surprised if it was Pharma. Maybe he was rebuilt by someone or thing on Mederi. I know the Knight are dead in all, or supposedly but their bodies and technology should still be on the planet. Maybe they used said tech to build pharma into something else. Either that, or the Grand Architect is just a crazed Knight of Cybertron who wants to rule the universe.

Part of me thinks it is, but would the timing work out? We first saw the Grand Architect rescuing Flame and Scorponok after they fled from the DJD, which was right around the time of LSoTW. Pharma was still on Delphi at the time.
We don't know exactly how long Scorponok and Flame were floating in space before being collected, but it seems unlikely that they were stuck out there until after Pharma was pulled to Mederi (or wherever), particularly where Flywheels was rescued while the war was still going.

Well, tentacle people pulled him through the gate, so...
Maybe he saw something there and learned something that stepped him up?
Or maybe he's a puppet of that entity?
With Pharma being a doctor and the whole Mederi planet thing being Cybertopia, I think it's a decent theory.

The grand architect has been around for at least 500 years because he was hiring black smiths around the galaxy. We know Pharma is coming back in some capacity. Perhaps he takes possession of Pharmas lifeless body.
Does seem weird he hasn’t shown up yet in this story and it’s flame building a body...

I do follow the theory that it's pharma's body at least but not necessarily his spark unless it was his spark and pharma only pretended to follow him before
