In that case, I'd advise actually mentioning that when you talk about the relationships bothering you - something like "It bothers me when these stories put a lot of focus on Transformer relationships". Statements like "completely disturbing with the homosexual material." give the reader a distinct impression that it's the "homosexual" part that's giving you problems.Prowl4 wrote:RevTibe wrote:What purpose required the Transformers to be built to look, act, feel, fight, play and think like humans? The gay relationship stuff is too frequent and in your face. The straight relationships haven't gone next to near how soppy and time consuming the gay ones have. It'd bother me if springer was hitting on or being soppy about arcee for example but the gay relationships are just too over the top.

If you dislike it when Transformers fiction heavily focuses on relationship drama, hey, that's fair, but if you genuinely considered "homosexual content" to be "disturbing" specifically for the gay part, then that's something I'd want to chat about, you know? It's something that's worth questioning.Prowl4 wrote:I don't particularly like the gay relationships, what of it?

Look at chromedome and rewind, might as well be a porno with how much they say "i love you", and hugged each other a few times. Super gay right? Just makes me long for the good ol' days of chaste conservative Heterosexual transformers, like Blacharacnia and silverbolt. They weren't over the top, and it wasn't implied they were **** constantly.

I don't think there's a need for it to be in transformers to be honest.

Bw silverbolt was a characterisation of an old gentleman/knight. Blackarachnia never played herself as a damsel in distress merely silverbolt was so gentlemanly he saw it that way. The embracing and words between chromedome and rewind are over the top and soppy. There's no two ways about it.
PEACE IN OUR TIME! STARSCREAM and WINDBLADE have given everything to bring together CYBERTRON’s Lost Colonies into a Council Of Worlds. But when the increasingly brutal tactics of STARSCREAM’s secret police increase tension among the former DECEPTICONS… how long can the Council maintain this fragile peace?
