We already saw a scene that strongly suggest that Optimus is going to die in AoE. And to be honest, while it is hard to belive, I really like idea and hope that this is going to happen. So lets say Optimus really going to meet hes demise (again)...
How Optimus death scene should looks like? Who should kill him? Did he's death this time should be permanent? What do you think about it?
I think Optimus should die this time slowly, they should create and entire scene about he's agony. He could be tortured before final strike, and suffers more damage than in former movies. He should die fighting single Decepticon, and he could this time beign. He could loose all limbs before death, or even beign sliced in half. And if he dies, this time he should die for good.

I don't think he'll die. The reason for this movie was to get a new story started and pave the way for a new director to continue the series. I strongly doubt he'll die.

Not because I'm one of those fans that thinks that Optimus Prime Should Never Die Ever, Ever, Ever Again Ever - I'm not; I say if a story dictates the big red-and-blue glory-hog get kacked, by all means go for it - but because they've already pulled that card twice in this branch of the franchise: the first time legitimately, the second time a fake-out.

Just because he "says I have a price on my head" doesn't mean he is going to die. When he "died" in ROTF it was only because Megatron shot him in the back. He survived the whooping Sentinel put on him by Megatron intervening after Carly called ole Megs "Sentinels bitch". I don't think the new and improved OP will be that easy to kill. Maybe if OP turns himself over to whoever it is might be a way to defeat that individual.

I don't even remember wether it is or isn't a reboot of the series, but what are the odds that they would give Optimus a brand-spankin' new look for the new trilogy and then just whack him in the first movie?
