However his weapon sucks, he has alot of kibble, and seems to large when compaired to the rest of the figures.
Classics Prime is more to scale, posses great, and has 2 cool guns. His alt is extremely lacking.
So if I had to decide, well....
Hell, I got two of each, get NW Prime now cause he's a limited run, and with Takara rehashing the line, Classics Prine will still be atainable too even if you have to wait a bit.
But if you can, I'd just spend it now, another $20 wont make or break ya!

Dont encourage habro to do batman figure esque repaints.
Nightwatch prime? What the hell does that even mean, he repaints himself at night?
A repaint should be new character, or a g1 homage, not an adjective stuck before the name of the character.

He looks better in both modes and has lots and lots of wepons cleverly hidden in his alt mode! ^^

I agree exc. for the alt mode, Classics Prime's is not very realistic, and that's what I like in alt modes. but I'm a sucker for alt modes that hide weapons, as well as robot modes that can store said weapons without forcing the robot to hold it in his hand. Plus, NW prime doesn't look like Movie Prime, while Classics Prime is Prime all the way. Or most of the way, anyway.

He realy is a fun bot.
However to everyone bashing NW Prime, I have to say, I HATE REPAINTS!
Looking at news post pics of this figure made me not care for him what so ever, still In hand...
This figure has something about him that the pictures aren't picking up. Again, I hate repaints, and usualy skip them quick!
However this figure I had to get and I'm glad I did. I haven't introduced him to the rest of the collective yet so I'm still undecided as to if he's going to be good or evil.
See reguardless of the bio, when I buy a figure it's mine, and I'll give it whatever backround I see fit.
Scourge has been out of comission lately(TM2 Megtron removed his light piping), and this would be a nice upgrade.
Then again, he does look real heroic...
Any thoughts?

But of course! Optimus is savvy enough to know makeup is the way to go for a bot's night out~
In all honesty though, I'm a bit undecided. If you have the regular Movie Leader Prime, I'd go with classics or vice versa. It is a tough choice.

If we don't stop them now, we'll get a pink "Barbyfest Prime" because Prime saw a My Little Pony when he climbed out of that swimming pool.
I'd say, loose the flames.

but anyways yeah I'll go with Classics. Right now I have movie Voyager Prime and he's alright, but I just hate how the windshield and for his chest isn't the same one in his vehicle mode. It just seems cheap.
Is Classics the same size as Voyager?

That being said, I enjoy the classics prime figure. A lot. Its alt. mode could've had a leveled top and gone without the indvane cannon thing, but in 'bot mode the extra firepower just makes him look so awesome.
Nightwatch Prime... Maybe if I weren't in America. I think it was UK (Could be wrong on the country here, someone please confirm this) that got a short run of Nightwatch Prime before the Allspark line was released. The special run of the figure was lacking the bright blue paint apps that get called the light of the Allspark. The thing looked so beautiful without the light blues. When I held Nightwatch in my hand the other day, I thought about how awesome it would be to have a leader-class Nemesis Prime (We all know that's who NW Prime really is) in my collection but that lightblue just kills it. Its what keeps me from getting First Strike Prime, too.
If you could get your hands on that limited run Nightwatch Prime then get him, or else get Classics Prime and use that extra twenty you've still got to get some awesome stuff..... Like a G2 yellow Hook with no accesories which you will immediately mail to me.

Mine was immediately de-boxed, bopped on the head, and renamed Scourge. He might need a little more black paint and he will need his tiny little emblem filed off and repainted, but other than that... an almost-honorable bad guy.
That said, for the sake of replying to the topic, go with Classics. He's really fun. Mine specializes in over-dramatic poses.

Likes jets, red cars, and big black trucks...
