Beezelboss/Renderform Goldbug kits cost $30 just for a head and guns. That's without the shipping cost. With this, we are getting a larger size figure from the last two mini's, and very good updated representations of these guys. I will place preorders on them after botcon, let my wallet breath for a lil.

I agree Prime Evil. The price jump is a little more than I expected/wanted but they are still well within the boundaries of third party price points. I'm excited for these two and their new scale. Preordered at BBTS.
Rated X wrote:Botcon or not, the long list of people complaining about spending 34 bucks is ridiculous. I could understand if we were talking about a $120 Stepper or a $600 Hercules, but 34 bucks ??? That's the price of a Takara United figure new, which Im sure most of the people on here complaining have a couple of.

Why do you insist on setting up this straw man argument?

It's the subtle (?) swipe at people who go to Botcon, and the page-long sig that amuse me most.

To the first guy:
I didnt set up any argument. Just like Jermaine Dupri said, "Money aint a Thang" you feel me ??? But I found it quite annoying to see people whining over 34 bucks like it's their life savings.
To the second guy:
Sorry you dont like my sig. But like it reads at the bottom, you should have been there. Were all TF fans, but the way people fluant non-TF related stuff in their sigs, I had to show yall how we do it big in the MIA...

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Dead Metal wrote:No, the point is the sig is too large and in violation of the rules. You can have one image in your sig, you have three which makes reading the forums a pain, having to scroll past it.

Don't be a tool. These are nearly twice the price of the previous two figures. You can't debate that. I buy third party stuff pretty often too but the precedence was set by the previous figures. These are hardly marvels of engineering. So why the price hike? It can not possibly cost twice as much to produce these as before. That price is absurd.

As far as the whole “felicitous person” argument, I think some people are trying to read between the lines of my statement because they got offended. I mean no disrespect to anyone, but people who complain about spending $34 are cheap in my opinion. As pointed out earlier, 30 bucks is the going rate for an upgrade set that consists of a head and 2 guns. So $34 is not a bad price for a nearly scout sized figure. What did many people pay for RTS Windcharger when it was scarce? $40-60, right? Third party collecting is an expensive part of this hobby, and those who legitimately can’t afford it should stick to buying Hasbro products and refrain from complaining about 3rd party prices. I’m not saying that all I-Gear items are fairly priced. But I do believe these are. Don’t get mad because Huffer and Seaspray were cheaper. We just got lucky with the first two. That’s the bottom line.

I guess you just need to add 2 months to that then?
