Anyone know the answer to this?

For that price, I've purchased their "Masterpiece" figures.
I agree whole heartily! Look at the quality and what you get with FansProject and PerfectEffect for cheaper. I know it sounds retarded but if it's true that they're cheaper now, I have an impulse to bite the bullet on these....even just to save $20+. Do we know for a fact they're at a discounted price right now?
Rated X wrote:I just noticed something else. On their pre order page they show Ironhide next to a G1 Optimus Prime. He towers over G1 Prime making him Voyager height. Universe Ironhide is actually shorter than G1 Prime. This kind of justifies the price, but the scale throws me off too much to purchase. Im trying to fill in gaps in my classics collection, not start a new supersized collection.

They compare both of their minibots to the Legends class Optimus Prime on their site.
How big is legends Prime?Mkall wrote:Powermaster Jazz wrote:Those prices are absolute bulls***. Plus it's not like there will never be any more official figures of Ratchet and Ironhide
Considering that Ironhide and Ratchet will stand as tall (if not taller) than FansProiject's Defender, and contain much more accessories, I don't think the prices are too outrageous.
tmk9883 wrote:Those are pretty awesome, but $110 is kinda steep. Hopefully TFSource will have them for cheaper.
I got out my G1 Primer for ref and compared him to some other Generations guys
Kup - Kups head is about to the top of Prime cab (about a head height shorter overall)
Inferno - Reverse of Kup. Prime's head comes up to the top of Infernos cab, with Infernos head makining about 1" or so higher.
Most of the generations guys are way shorter unless you take into account doors/wings and missles.

I agree with you. The price may be more than what people expected but it's not outrageous when all of their accessories and the amount of detail on the figures are taken into consideration. My only concern is QC. Some parts look a little fragile. I also wonder how well balanced they are. Are they going to fall over easily?
I like the scale of Ironhide and Ratchet. They will fit well in a MP collection. What are the chances that these figures will be on other sites for preordering?

Trikeboy wrote:I agree that $110 for Ironhide and Ratchet is a lot of cash but considering they are voyager sized and armed to the teeth, it is understandable.
I know this is a rough comparison but you get the general idea. $110 for 3rd party voyager sized figs is pretty good. Arcee was the same price and she is a Deluxe sized figure.

is it safe to say he in good proportion to Classics/Henkei Optimus?
