I am so bored is the game ever comming back or is it done for good?

Its been down for longer than this in past.
All we can do is wait until Mkall himself knows whats going on and fills us in, as we know he will straight away, he's pretty good like that.

Hopefully it wont be too long. Until then, try joiing us in ogame? We're trying to see how much of the galaxy we can litter with debris before we turn our skills back to destroying cybertron...

Well considering that I'm still working on it, I'd say no. It's in stasis lock and the CR is taking a little longer than normal. I pray to Primus I can get this working well enough so that we don't have to have these shut downss ever again.

Aw, Mkall isn't THAT bad.

I wish Mkall every bit of goodwill possible on trying to fix up the game. I hope it comes back, but if you ever learn anything, nothing's certain.

Thanks for updating us that your still working on it I'm sure the game will be avalible soon enough. I wonder if some pepole realize that programing this game is'nt the only thing you have to do in life. Take away the crack and watch the junkies get more irrational and paranoided then normal. I guess mabey we need a betty ford clinic for hmw. Keep up the good work mkall I'm sure you'll get all together for us soon enough

I'd rather you take your time and get it as good as you can then rush it and have more problems down the line.

Are they the sort of thing a dedicated team could do to prevent server being bitch slapped?

their routine tasks that are done by a progeam at specific times, like updating the database, some as often as every minute or less.

I'm not a programmer so go wiki it.

Though seriously, HMW must be the only game online that's integrated into such a large website. You'll find the majority of them are setup for just the game and tack some forums on.

While it's a grand vision of Ryan's to build such a massive TF website and incorporate something like HMW, I think it's obvious now that feasability is becoming a major issue.

It's nothing new. This has happened numerous times in the nearly 5 years HMW's been around. You get use to it after a while and learn to just roll your eyes, bite your tongue, and get on with other things in life.
