Tell me about it.
When I bought the Darth Vader helmet I had my sister drive me around whilst I wore it and then looked into other peoples cars at red lights and so forth.
But then, minutes later when the novelty worn off, I put my Darth Vader helmet in the basement.

I don't want to be a stickler here, but the title of this thread promised that upon reading the enclosed I would laugh til I died. Well, I am making a claim of false advertising. Not that the thread is bad, but I'm laughing and still very much alive.

Well it's no fun if you're just in the passanger seat. The best thing to do is be driving (if you can see well enough).

First thing I'm doing with my Prime helmet is just that. Maybe stop at a light, put my arm up on the sill, look over and say "Sup honey. I'm Optimus Prime. Wanna head back to Cybertron with me?"

I'd either get no response, ridiculed badly, laughed at for sheer hilarity or get lucky if the chick is one of those freaky ones. Regardless of the outcome it would be hilarious in my mind.

I'm sure you're right, but I can't fit my glasses under the helmet so I'd literally be driving blind, or at least with a vision impairment.

I can fit my glasses under my Vader Helmet. They tend to slide, though, and they don't quite line up with the lenses on the helmet.

And it gets HELLA hot under there. Hence why I never really finished my Vader Suit. (Which wouldn't've been 501st quality, believe me.

Looks like I'm going to be Jedi with Lightsaber-chucks for Halloween.

Here's a great example of something you could do with a voice changer mask:

With a Starscream helmet I could have my voice go really high and then only the neighborhood dogs could hear me. :P Or I could shriek and break some windows with the pitch of my voice

YOu know, I think it would be awsome to take a movie Megatron vocie changer helmet, go out next to the side of a major road, & put on a sandwich board saying either "have you seen my fusion cannon?" or " will give head for energon."

Either would be classic.

*mods if you find that inappropriate, feel free to delete it.....or better yet, find something equally funny yet not offensive. It's late & I can't come up with anything else.
