And i prefer humor over drama. I am the exact opposite of an otaku. Plus death note is not light, airy, and friendly. I prefer more kiddie anime like sailor moon and voltron

Good use of both the overbrushing and drybrushing techniques from what I can see of the pics. Good clean lines and distinct colour. Experiment with washes (not the GW "washes") to change the tone and feel of colours.

Washes - water down the base or darkest shade to almost water in consistancy, keeping in mind the tone you want the colour to have (you can, for example use purples and browns for washing red). Wash the area and leave to dry. Reapply previous layer and highlight. Wash again. Highlight.

Example - Blood Red could be washed Liche Purple(cooling\mystical feel, awsome with Scab Red(the purpleish red), Scorched Brown(warm, dark, deep).

From what I can see, time and patience will be your friend. I'm sure with a little practice, you'll be better than I am now.

Um, 2 problems here: By talking to us about nothing but what shows you like marks you as an annoying fangirl/boy. So yeah, you're acting like an otaku by inviting argument and ticking people off. Secondly, the REAL version of voltron is actually pretty gritty the english version has only half of what actually happens in the show. I own all the DVDs of Golion, and it's FAR superior to what you watch. oh BTW: SVEN DIES.

Thanks. But I feel this sig needs to reflect my love of halo and RvB. So noobs is what I'd go with.
