Fiance is out, staying at a friends, and not much was happening with friends after we met for dinner so I found myself bored, So started a clean of the room where I keep most of my TF's and pretty much all of the Joes. clean up my desk, chucking out unneeded packaging and folding down others for archiving later.
It's now 2:30 in the morning and here's a bit of note while doing so.
1) Snake Eyes rip Attack Bike. Bought for $5. for the figure, opened bike to kill package, and while not interested as a display piece, my cats love it. Set it up and watch them chase it.
2) ROC Dial-Tone and Helix, Same person? same head sculp, same pay grade, same stock artwork for packaging, same thumbprint on file card????
3) Cobra Island Alley-viper and TFClub Dion, not the same shades of orange and blue, but close enough.
4) Didn't realize I still have 3 Neo-Vipers and 2 Pitt Commandos unopened, and Yes I knew I had picked up a Desert-Viper a while back.
5) A buddy that moved out of town a couple months ago left a box with me, to do whatever I wanted to do with the contents. A quick look when I got it netted my a G1 Blaster and Blast-off, but most looked like a lot of beat-up stuff that hadn't been touched in years, Looking thru it tonight revealed exactly that, however two jewels in the rough. A complete original Firebat, (needs new stickers, a wash and a bit of glue for a broken gun) and surprisingly a complete COBRA Bunker. The missile was trashed and useless but the bunker itself has all 7 pieces, and while it could use new stickers (doesn't seem like Cobrastickers stocks that set) I think I can spruce it up when I have a bit of time.
6) Good thing I check the Cobra Island Insert before chucking it, I had missed the spare BAT chest piece.
Running total, as of 3:30am, One bankers box of folded packaging to remove art and Filecards from later.
One garbage bag of total garbage.
Two garbage bags of cardboard and plastic for sorting at our buildings Recycling bins.
One cleaner desk with recovered leg space underneath.
Still no space to display my G3 Trailer.
Bonus bit:
While I was watching the last episode of Top Gear earlier this week, while messing around with my bitbox, I may or may not, in the TG tradition of "Ambitious but Rubbish" loosely created what could be called a Stig-Viper.
