Go to Sweden, I'm sure you'll find several large blond men as soon as you exit the airport.

Brendan Fraser has a bit too much of a, umm, 'happy naive dude' look to him, I think. Brad Pitt I could possibly see as Captain America, especially something like the grizzled veteran hard@$$ from Ultimates.
Thor's not impossible, just hard. You'd have to find a big dude who can actually act reasonably well. Someone mentioned that Marvel's production studios had floated the idea of using the wrestler Triple H as Thor, but the current director on the Thor movie shot that down. I can agree with that: while he'd reasonably look the part, the dude just plain can't act. For Thor, I think they're going to have to find a second tier, not so well known actor who also happens to look reasonably like Thor.
Personally, I just hope they find a way to use Vladimir Kulich ( Buliwyf from the 13th Warrior ) in some way, shape or form. Perhaps a bit too old for Thor, but man he'd make a great Odin!
