Nope it's the same one you've seen. Just cut down from the Comic Con version. Right before they show the final Iron Man suit you see a much larger suit that doesn't look like any Iron Man ever. That is Obediah's suit.

Stane is the villain for number 1 with mandarin being the overall arching villian for the presumed trilogy. Pulling the strings in the background

Ah, I assumed that was the third Iron Man suit. So, powered-armour punch ups ahoy! Fantastic!

Looks alright, the trailer is really badly put together - some clips run way too long, like him flying through the air - it's corny and it takes up too much time in the trailer...

I'll wait to see more, I just hope they don't screw up Ironman as bad as they screwed up Ghost Rider...

Oh yeah, and I'd much rather they ditched even including Sabbath's Iron Man on the soundtrack. Really... the song has nothing to do with the Marvel character and is almost kind of goofy as to how obvious a soundtrack choice it is. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but I'd much rather have some more original music used than 30 year old classic rock.

I still hope that maybe they'll dig out the intro music for the second season of the 90s cartoon, give it to a great metal band to remix up, and use that for the theme music. Never gonna happen, but one can dream.

With regards to Ghost Rider anyway.

Looks like it may actually be good.

Yes, I think that scene where he's flying through the air looks corny and over-the-top. Even if I suspend my disbelief, I find it difficult to believe any suit could actually make someone do that, superhero or not - it just doesn't look right. Oh, and he reminds me of the Rocketeer:

No. I just think the way they did it doesn't look good. He's going way too fast for it to be even remotely believable to me. I can believe that someone in the comic-to-movie universe can build a suit that makes them fly, but when he's outrunning a couple of supersonic jets, it just looks to "cartoony".

I don't know, I just look at that scene and it makes me want to laugh.

And I hate how the trailer has that "I am Ironman" voice at the end. Why do all the superheroes in movies have to introduce themselves like that?

"I'm Spiderman!"

"Who are you?" "I'm Batman!"

"I'm the only one who can walk in both worlds, I'm Ghost Rider!"

"I am Ironman!"

... and I'M "just not impressed by this trailer"

This is my last post on the subject, since this just comes down to my personal taste, thinking that Ironman flying through the sky like that looks corny. I won't convince other people to see it my way, and they won't convince me to like it, so that'll be that.

Back to your point, it's because the transformers are believable in the universe they exist in. If Ironman is set in a world where there are no supernatural powers at work (no 'radioactive spider' or 'gamma rays' or anything) or transforming alien robots from outer space, then I find it hard to believe that someone can build a suit that can make you go that fast without the G-force breaking your body.

If Tony Stark had been bitten by a radioactive F22 Raptor, then maybe I'd buy it. But as it stands now, I'm skeptical of the film and have never really been a fan of Ironman anyway.

I wasn't excited for this movie before, and after seeing the trailer, I'm still not excited. Which means, for me, the trailer failed.

Trailer looks great. Looks like they're pulling straight from the animated feature. I hope its not the whole feature though. Didn't like what they did with Mandarin in it....

The Mk.I suit looks cool enough. Really resembles the one in the comics.

Iron Man rocks. I thought all the Marvel movies were very very good. All were very true to the characters. Spider-Man and the X-Men especially.
