I think they're both only barely interesting, and the 1st film is why I don't like Agent Coulson and wasn't sad to see him go in Avengers. The only really good part of Thor 2 was Loki's clever trick, and unlike the other MCU films, it actually left me with enough interest to look forward to Thor 3.
More or less my thoughts, too. But at the same time, I thought Thor 2 was a good bag of humour, silly science and sort of magic - with an emotional drive - something that the first one kind of ignored to highlight more the visuals of Asgard and its universe.
**** you both.

Is The Incredible Hulk a part of Phase 1? And did Phase 1 conclude with Avengers, or was that the start of Phase 2?Shadowman wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Blasphemer!NM wrote:I liked Thor 1 better than Cap 1.
I thought Thor was the weakest of the phase 1 movies, but I still thought it was really fun.

Incredible Hulk is part of Phase 1, hence the inclusion of Stark's consulting part.
Avengers is the close of Phase 1, As Avengers 2 will be the close of Phase 2.

I think Tony Stark will have a hand in his creation this time
Editor wrote:Really I think that Tony likely f%^*%d something up royally thus causing everything to do with Ultron.
on another note there was a short article posted yesterday I think basically touching on the upcoming Civil War story and how on AOS you currently have the mini SHEILD civil dispute between Coulson's SHEILD and the "new" SHEILD under Gonzalas.
The weird thing however is if Coulson is on the side with secrets but also wanting to maintain the registry of powered people, that should put them on the side of Stark, with the new SHIELD on Caps side.
So the biggest Captain America and Howling Commandos Fanboy in the Son of Coul, may actually fall into the other camp......
strangeness abound.

I say cap is faking it, since in traditional Marvel lore, Cap (and his daughter) is one of the extremely few worthy enough of lifting Thor's Hammer.

What about the MCU makes you think "traditional Marvel lore" means anything here?
