Spectre Creative dosen't have to respond, but again, as you said, I'm sure he will. All he ever said was that he had 3 different sources tell him that new MOTU toys would no longer be sold at Retail after April 1st. Now I do find it odd that he has chosen not to reveal said "sources". But if any of these new waves of Origins or Masterverse show up in store at Target or Walmart after 4/1 then he will have been proven wrong. If they disappear completely from B&M (which has already happened at all my local Walmarts), and only show up via online retailers and Mattel's site, then what he stated initially will have been proven accurate.
I never really understood why several fans got so worked up? If they mistakenly thought he stated line was ending as a whole based on his videos, that's on them, and their misinterpretation of what was stated. I have no loyalty to the guy, especially since he devoted a whole video to the wrong answer to a question I sent him, but I'm just trying to be objective.

My brother in-law is a purchase director at Walmart corporate and ( no I'm NOT allowed to share his name or regional coverage code) I live in the Inland Northwest of the United States...he said theirs NO mandate to cut/clear out motu. Although each store manager can decide to a good degree what to put on clearance depending on the code of the product..i.e. furniture, gardening etc. He also showed me that they're expecting/have been assured in contract that motu is still producing new products at least up to and for Christmas 2023 not counting what was covered here there are 24 figures 4 "vehicles, 3 DVDs sold individually and 1 play setting..whatever that is. No names or pictures but description for shelf space lists 4 characters as double size. Not 2 figures but double size figures 2 from the
"Good" guys, 2 from the "evil" well it says evil on some of the 24 and some as rivals, heroes, and rogues . From the grayed out outline with measurements one of the vehicles might be-a boat ?

While none of the Walmarts near me had the $1 clearance as far as I'm aware, they didn't need to because there is no MOTU product currently at all at most of the Walmarts around me. Target has Sunman sets at 50% off, and trying to clear out Masterverse King Grayskull and Trapjaw deluxe figures. I've seen Masterverse Two-Bad quite a bit, that I think is a fairly recent release, but that's about it.
When things go on clearance at this level,it's not a good sign though. Super Powers was a big one in my area. As Walmart exclusives they went on clearance big time despite more waves of reveals,I'm not sure where they will show up because they aren't at Walmarts in my area anymore.

What make this truly rare the fact that it's complete. The insane number of parts that can easily be lost make it so.

It does make me wonder how so many playsets survived (in tact) from the 80's and 90's.
