I'm 24 years old and am doing perfectly fine socially being a pokemon fan. You should realize that people are into different things and find enjoyment in them. Hell being a transformers fan/collector should tell you that. I have a friend who is older than me and still competes in Yu-gi-oh tournaments. Its what he enjoys so who am I to tell him different? You are welcome to think pokemon is the most moronic thing ever conceived in human history. I will respect your opinion, but don't come in here and tell me what I should be into. While the target audience for the show is around age 12, the video games are widely enjoyed by people ranging from age 5 to age 45. You'll find as you get older that acceptance of other people is a very mature quality, so please...grow up.

I am 24 too and thanks God neither my girlfriend nor my friends have any problem with me enjoying a nice RPG(if it was a Final Fantasy or WoW topic would you mind tranfan13?). So, I suggest that you should learn to respect other's opinions,likes and dislikes(either we are talking about giant robots from outer space or about some little creatures)if you want to be accepted in this or any other online community and the society in general.

First off, Final Fantasy doesn't have the addictive elements of WoW. Nor does it have the longevity of WoW, or anything even remotely resembling it outside of vague fantasy settings.

As for your opinion that certain games should not be played by people of certain age groups, sorry, but your opinion is wrong. This is, after all, a message board about children's toys.

In any case, Pokemon is rated E for Everyone, not E for Everyone Under a Certain Age.

I'm 15 as well, don't have any real life problems but anyways, what bugs me is that...You said it sort of crazily and not as an opinion. I mean really, your opening sentence makes it sound like you're enraged that a Pokemon game thread exists here o_O

ANOTHER Fire/Fighting Starter? *sigh* With 17 possible type combos, why do they keep using the same one? (Design-wise, I rather like the pig, it's just the typing I hate)

Other than that, this is really shaping up to be one of my favorite Gens. Sarcophoghosts, electric spiders, cell-thingies, crocodilians, afro buffolo, drill-moles, flying squirrels, incense burner/baku, sunfish, daruma doll baboons, angry chipmunks... and those are the ones we got pics of. There are a bunch of rumored ones sounding just as amazing.
It's going to be hell picking a team, though.

I gotta say, I was a little jarred by Pokabu's final evolution, and pleasantly surprised by the final stage of Mijumaru. But I've already decided that I'll stick with Tsutaja for my JP|Black playthrough, although I need to think of a new name for it, too many people have chosen Excalibur already. Maybe Kaa... I will keep thinking.

But, when EN|White comes out next year and I'll switch to Pokabu and make a Ranma 1/2 themed team. Pokabu/Ryoga, Choroneko/Shampoo, Swana/Mousse... And something to be Ukyo, since I wuvs her and can't have a Ranma team without using her. Probably Happy too... I love that old git.

Yeah, not to sound like a Gen I obsessor(even though Gen II is my favorite) but I'm not liking alot of them ;/

Though Kibago's line is, of course, AWESOME. Wasn't expecting Ononokusu as the final though.
That's what bugs me, all the third forms look way more like second forms.

Though I won't lie, there are some cool ones out there, ALL of Gigaiasu's are awesome( A ROCK...), Aianto is pretty cool, from what I can see, Urugamosu is awesome, Kyuremu ain't bad either.

But Meguroko's forms...they seem so out of proportion with the entire universe...Genosekuto's face should be changed, besides that it looks great(though not like a legendary...), Sazando makes a fitting pseudo-legendary, but I don't think 3 heads fits him too well, Koromori&Kokoromori are ones that seem more like Digimon to me...lastly..Kurimugan's colors are just...off.

But still, there were some cool ones, I didn't list them all but those are a few that really stick out to me as odd...
And the garbage one...Muk any day(I'm not improving my situation at all, am I?).
