Well i got one today, it was on special for NZ$17.49 from NZ$24.99.
This one is called Shako, and he's a evil one!

I have him all set up and sitting on my window ledge, I must say he looks cool, can't wait till he gets bigger.

Yeah I did that too, I mixed the first Sloog (well I shook it in an old drinks bottle really), then I added it in, though I must not have shook it hard enough, cause the Sloog all sunk to the bottom of the tube!

Well Shako is growing nicely, though i take it the period between his normal red heart flashes is meant to slow a bit when its dark, it says they like 12 hours of light and dark, but when he's in the sun his heart doesn't flash faster, so does that just mean he's sleeping?

How do you know its not flashing faster? Does it just blink or does it have a number counter?

It has two red blinks for "I'm healthy", those (as far as I'm aware of) don't blink faster or slower, its the space between the set of two flashes that changes.

Yeah there's two flashes of the heartbeat, and the time between the 2nd flash and the next 1st flash is how you tell whether he's asleep or awake.

When he's asleep the delay is so long you start to wonder if he's dead or not.

When it turns orange it means he's drowning and when he flashes green it means he's starving.

Damn demanding little buggers.

I picked up Shako at Target clearance for $6.98.
He is alive and blinking. It's almost frightening to look at
and I'm not confidant the plastic that separates me from him will keep me safe at night.

ZOMG! This thread has been resurrected like Dodec! :shock:

If it's any consolation Discharge, it takes a hell of a lot to smash that plastic open. So you'll be safe for at least a week until he reaches maturity.

If he gets too big, I will take a saw and cut the top off.
Can you treat them so bad they stop working?
I remember it took about 25 slaps to my Gigapuppy before he bit the dust. Once he was dead I lost any interest in it.

I haven't registered it online or anything, I'll have to check out the website. I plan on neglecting it so it grows to hate, even despise me, if that's even possible.
I want to see what this 'Panic Mode' is.

Shako is 192 years old.
I tried the panic mode but didn't see any difference.
It told me I have neglected him 24 times by leaving him in the sun for too long. How is that even possible? He only hatched yesterday. This thing better not get too demanding.

Anyone know if there is a battle arena for these things?

Man the Sloog gets real nasty looking.

Sure you entered the sequences right? No way he could be 192 already.

I think in the first day things are a bit screwy, he is going to think he's neglected because his birth is probably a pretty traumatising event.

You could try sticking them in a pool, since they seem to live in water, but they might just bob about in it or sink. But you might want to make sure first that chlorinated water doesn't make them shrivel up like a raisin.

There are a couple games on the website but my PC needs the
plug ins and I don't have a lot of free memory to do that.
I'll try to find an underground TTA fighting arena.

He actually seems to be getting bigger and the Sloog is getting lower. I guess I'll have to feed him.

I like shaking the test tube up and getting him to blink red to green. I think that makes him angry.

I don't even know what that is. But I'm not scared.
No evidence no case.
I've got him in a cabinet since I 'neglected' him
with too much light. Maybe that will straighten him out.
