hmm.. didn't realize that TFC is releasing defensor without finishing their Predaking. Is anyone worry about this.

oh no I just meant that it looks like TFC are releasing both of these together rather than finishing one than starting the defensor. BBTS has the Gumball thing dropping in March same time as their rampage.

Those are actually really cool looking as Beast Wars repaints. Might be my first TFC purchases if they are released.

Yea, it would be pretty interesting if a 3rd Party decided not to finish a combiner. Shattering of good faith, and such. But if any of the Predakings were to lay incomplete, it would definitely be TFC's (IMO).

I doubt it. MMC's Predacons appear to be highly popular. TFC's Superion appeared to sell well. And even a gestalt that was pretty widely panned, UT's Predacon, was completed. Given that TFC has done a ton of stuff, I don't think they will stop development of this guy. I think we're safe from a Gestalt Armeggedon.

I love these Beast Wars repaints. Airrazor will probably be a repaint using the Divebomb mold. Who will be the repaint for the bull?

I'd kind of dig the Metals versions of the characters more from these molds, given that they are more machine, than animal.

Well Divebomb would obviously be Air Razor, but who would Tantrum be ? Im stumped. Was there any bull in the Japanese Beast Wars sagas ? Or they could retool the beast head to a bear or bison maybe if there was one in the Japanese cartoons...

Feral Rex is the popular choice for Predaking, so maybe TFC are doing the Protectobots at the same time to help combat possible lower sales of Ares so this set can be finished?

I liked the look of TFC's feline predacons so I went ahead and bought their Razorclaw. After handling him, I am out on Ares as well. I was always for the MMC one but I thought about double dipping but not now. The quality on TFC's just isn't there. The figure is huge and light and just feels cheap. TFC got away from the formula that made Hercules great and I think their paying for it in the long run.

Transmetal Cheetor & Lio Convoy both look equally amazing.

Rhinox looks terrible. I'd like to see the mold in Transmetal Rhinox colors. To see if those colors work better.

I agree that they have continued to drop the ball since Herc. I have no problems with the plastic quality of Uranos and none of the stability issues others have mentioned (mine is solid), but it just feels kinda half-arsed compared to Herc.

I'm glad to hear your thoughts on Ares, I'm in the MMC camp as well, but makes my decision to wait for Prometheus to be released as a set easier.

I've got Herc, and like him, but that's basically it. I've just been plain uninterested in the rest of TFC's offerings.
