That looks even worse man. I like that they tried something new but I just don't think it worked out very well. If they didn't want to go G1 with the look, I'd have preferred them going with a more Rhinox looking bit mode.

Yep, 2 of each. One for combined mode, one for beast mode .

That was a sticky point for me too with these guys.

I really do like their beast modes best of the 3 Predakings and combined mode looks good too, but there are just too many little issues keeping me away from these.

It is a shame, because I'm a pretty big fan of TFC's combiners.

Yep, I agree 100%. I started this project by buying Razorclaw as soon as it came out but I cancelled my orders on the rest.

i reaaaalllly like the use of the big foot gun and just the overall look of him. shame the rhino couldnt be as clever with his big foot.

im a little bummed that these guys dont have the nice array of melee weapons (ie: the knifey goodness of MMC's). other than that, im quite happy with these guys. now show me divebomb!

The Junkion Blacksmith Infinity Warfare sword works pretty well for Predaking.

In the pic is the JB00 version of the sword, the JB06 adds a whole extra section as long as the blade that is shown, so it can be pretty epic!

You could splash on some paint to make it the color you want ... or just stick with the red if you dig that.

For everyone who complained that MMC made headstrong just a retool of tantrum, it looks like TFC just gave you the same thing. Yes its a bit more extensively retooled and totally neo (ugh) but its still a retool. At least MMC didnt give you an oversized MP scale razorclaw.

its hard to tell from those pics, but extensively retooled might be an understatement. from what i see, they look like two different figures with similar designs.

It appears all of the 3rd party Predakings legs bots use the same base mold but with massive resculpting and retooling. Unique Toys W02 Ironhead and W03 Savage Bull, Also use the same base mold.

Well, MMC has solid release dates of June 15 for Talon and August 15 for Tigris(because MMC hasn't ever moved these... )

Has TFC release dates for the rest of their allotment? The next one, Aethon, lists a June release date on BBTS. There is no preorder for the last one.

Besides, MMC has already won the race to awesomeness.

MMC stated, just before TFC officially announced their project, that TFC was doing a Predaking and that it would most likely be finished before their own.

I agree with you! Not digging Ares so much, but I'm more interested to see how the 3 Predakings stack up in a lineup in all 3 modes: robot, beast, & combined.

It's actually kind of crazy that UT's has been complete for such a long time now, or will have been complete for such a long time by the time MMC & TFC complete theirs.
