it seems to not only go unnoticed by our esteemed moderators and administrators, but certain ones seem to take an egregious, gleeful part in actually promoting the use of such disparaging and dangerous verbiage. Furthermore, I am abhorred by the realization that certain members of this message board consider my online identity to be a candidate for their opinion of the behavior this ugly, demeaning term represents. This baseless, thoughtless accusation is detrimental to my psyche and emotional well-being. I humbly and respectfully request a representative of the law enforcing entity of this cyberspace establishment to take it up on him- or herself to conjure up the necessary amount of courage, self-awareness and character to do his or her duty to not only protect my integrity as a member of this online community, but to reprimand the offending party of this merciless verbal assault. With immense gratitude I thank you in advance.

Let us hope you learn from this, Madeus. Words, whether written or spoken, can hurt. When you label someone with a derogatory term, it usually stays around whether that label is justified or not. People tend to remember the more controversial or negative aspects of someone else, so now there is a good chance that I may be referred to as a "troll" on these boards for the forseeable future, thanks to your thoughtless and self-satisfying verbal abuse. A joke or "jest," as you put it, perhaps in an attempt to downplay the seriousness of the situation, should be shared only if we're all laughing. However, I must admit, I am not laughing. This moniker of "troll" will most likely stay with me for a while, as these online communities tend to hang on to such things. I worked hard on my image on this message board, and now I will have to work even harder. I just hope you and I can be friends moving forward. If I have offended you or caused you any concern over my posts, I apologize. I want all of us to have fun here. Thank you.
