I don't think those pictures really do it justice, I need to just go through sometime and take pictures of all the stuff Krissy has painted for me. We have some really spectacular custom Heroclix she's made. Hopefully she's going to make a Classics Thundercracker for me sometime too.
Edit: I keep threatening to buy her a pack of Eldar Harlequins.Do you still customize a lot?
It comes in spells... Some of those Mandos were painted four years ago when we lived in the dorms, some were painted in our apartment last winter, along with my Vector Prime figure (which is arguably the only thing I've ever done that came out looking how I wanted it to) - seems to be something I do when we're snowed in, so hopefully the Colorado winter will motivate me to do more.
Spike wrote:That's awesome... I'm just holding out hope that the skiff will be re-released again.
The TIE Bomber was never released in the old line, but I'm glad it was made. I got the POTJ(?) version when it came out in Walmart...
Spike wrote:That tri-TIE, wasn't that in the old TIE Fighter PC game?
I think it was called a Defender or something. I still have
that game somewhere. That would make an awesome toy.

Spike wrote:Also got the Star Wars Legacy TPB. It collects the first few issues, 1-6, except for #4? Why is that?
Spike wrote:Wow, OTC Leias are still around? Sometimes I find the Han Endor VOTC figures, but not the first series. She's a pretty good figure though.
The other day I was in a Walmart, and they had at least three cases of Wave 5.1, whatever those are. I should have ripped one open, but I didn't. No one was around either. Is that the wave with Yoda & Kybuck and those video game Darths?
I saw the Saga Legends Boba Fett a few times... I didn't realize that was the VOTC sculpt. I thought about getting one so I could give him a little bit of rework, like making the braided scalps out of thread, and cutting out a bit of his inner bicep so he can hold his rifle better.
Funny... Winamp just randomly played "Fett's Vette" by MC Chris. LOL. I love that song... "I'm faster than a Prior on fire!"
Well, I had a super-haul today. (WJ35, I was in the Gulf View area.) Guess I had to make up for not finding anything in my area. I got:
TRU Y-Wing
TRU Interceptor
Umpass-Stay
Luke Jedi
Elis Herlot
M'Iiyoom Onith
Animated Fett
And some non-SW stuff...
Also got the Star Wars Legacy TPB. It collects the first few issues, 1-6, except for #4? Why is that? Well the TPB itself seems interesting. I had $20 on a Borders gift card to use up. I don't read many books, and haven't really followed the Expanded Universe other than the Heir to the Empire and Jedi Academy novels. Thankfully the inside page describes a bit about what's gone on during the forty or so years following ROTJ.
I plan on picking up more of the TPBs. Any recommendations? The old Tales of the Jedi comics always seemed interesting. I like that they (the comics themselves) were made pre-Episode I. Did they ever make TPBs of the older EU stuff, like the Han Solo trilogy (at Star's End, etc), or the Lando Calrissian trilogy of books? I used to like those old books. I know Splinter of the Mind's Eye has a comic adaption. I'll have to get that.
