^ I can't tell if that is good or bad? If it is a grossly inflated price, then yeah, it is probably one of those situations, and I would just ignore the offer. If it is truly a good deal (Like say $120 at 13% off would be $104.40) * still paying more than retail, but not bad considering the popularity of the toy, and it being 2 years old. I believe it was produced again very early this year, but again, those probably sold out fast.

It hasn't worked yet, but then again, those sellers STILL haven't sold their items. their loss....

Awersome, glad it worked for you . Just wanted to make sure he wasn't asking something crazy like $200 or more, and taking 13% off that. I've been offered those type of "deals" before.

Nothing to be confused about. If there's something that interest you but you think the price is a wee bit high, PUT IT ON YOUR WATCH LIST... and wait.

Often, you'll get an automated offer that will be close to, or even cheaper than the price you wanted to pay. That happened to me often.

Two hauls. First from eBay, Energon Snowcat. Brand new, just missing the box. At 60$can shipped, that was the cheapest for a complete one. Needed him for my "snow" display.

Then from Toys R Us, Select Transmutate! At last, I have that cute girl.

But to have free shipping, I had to add something to go above 75$can total so I bought a small thing extra at 85$can...

My Combiners obsessed friend got a type of combiner he never had before, an Energon one in the shape of "RotF" Superion. A bit expensive at 100$can plus shipping brand new, but that's what must be paid when being 13 or so years late.

I had the 3 standard release Energon Combiners when they first came out. I never got any of the variants, except the first member of the collector club version when it came out as part of the subscription.
I thought they were good at the time considering that I figured reimaginings of the original combiners would never happen again. I have a little regret in selling them, but I'm glad your friend got one he is happy with.

I have the "ROTF" Bruticus with the ckick-ass upgrade kits Munitioners and such. I came close to sell the ensemble but luckily I didn't. It's really bad-ass!
Plus with the "Core Class" obsession that took over the fandom recently, these small combiners are better than ever!

Another day, another haul.

First from eBay, a box-O-scraps for 45$can shipped. Lots of interesting stuff in there.

Out of this I could have a complete and unbroken ROTF Fast Action Battler Jolt. A bit floppy, but fun.

Then I had a spare '07 deluxe Jazz head to complete the headless one from the lot.

The most important part was the ROTF voyager Bludgeon wreck. Mine had a broken missile launcher on the tank turret... and the scrap too! Fortunately, it was the other one so the one I needed was okay. But to change the broken one on mine, I had to disassemble the tank turret and to deal with the mechanism of the gimmick. I succeeded and my ROTF Voyager Bludgeon finally have BOTH missile launcher on the tank turret!

Finally from Amazon (and at 30$can cheaper than TrU) Kingdom Commander Rodimus Prime! I'll give my impressions in the Kingdom thread in due time.

Got my SS86 Wreck Garr from Walmart.

I also went to my local Geek Stuff and I found 3 movie bots that I've been looking for forever at a reasonable price. AoE High Octane Bumblebee, SS Barricade, and RotF Ransack!

Managed to score a 2ndhand SS86 Grimlock off eBay for close to retail all told. Came with the nice bonus of a 3P sword, although I'd like to exchange for the green version if anyone's willing.
