See, Nintendo needs to join the "bring back stuff from the 80's/90's" craze.

I want to see Super Smash Brothers include Megaman, Simon Belmont, Captain N, Gameboy, Eggplant Wizard, King Hippo, and Princess Lana.

Nintendo, bring back Captain N dammit!

And were the Ninja Turtles originally designed as comic characters or video game characters? Because that's kind of a deciding factor.

Fair enough. I just think they're a better fit than half of the characters that have been put in....Ice Climbers.

The Ice Climbers were my first reason for playing Melee.

1. They're adorable.
2. They have hammers.
3. You can get justify your indignace when someone kills off your other half. "NO ONE kills Nana!"
4. When you play as the man, your name is Popo. :D Popo. :D
5. They're adorable.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the TMNT appear in SSBB, I just think the way they are usually drawn- 3d or otherwise, is very different from the way the current Smash cast is drawn. I just don't think they'd look as good drawn the same way...

I hated the Ice climbers. Always annoying **** to fight. Beat one and the other **** tends to be behind you :?

Just play as Kirby and eat them, that's a lot of fun, I think the TMNT would fit in, they look different from the rest of the cast, but so does Snake.

As on TFs in figting games, wasn't there this game from Capcom or so were they were there as special guests, I saw screan shots with Prime Megatron and Devastator.

That was MUGEN. A fighting engine based on the Marvel Vs. Capcom/Street Fighter Alpha gameplay. You could create and place your own characters in it. That was the game you saw. I was never really impressed with it to be honest.

How does Snake "Look" different than the rest of the cast? He started on the NES, just like most the cast.

The TMNT started in comics. See the difference?

He's realistic looking. But then so is Samus now.

Personally I just don't think he works for that type of game. Is his Socom pistol going to shoot laser beams? Is his special move going to be "hide under box"? Is his grapple going to be a neck snap?

See what I'm getting at? He doesn't fit all that well with the other characters and their sort of fantasy type weapons and attacks.

Well, personally, I think it's nintendo trying to break out of it's stereotyped ages 1-10 gaming.
I mean, Metroid was probably the first step by them, although they themselves haven't gone out too far. I know when I saw Manhunt 2 for Wii I didn't think they'd have the guts. I mean their gmaes ae probably some of the most famous, but they need more titles for more mature people. I'm not saying have some XXX or gorefest, maybe a more realistic Zelda game or something. Baby steps.
But, on the other hand, nintendo probably comes up with some of the best stuff creativity wise.

He uses his Box as a defensive move, like Peach with Toad, or Fox's reflective shield. Other than that, he's going to be using mostly his Stinger Missiles and other explosives.

No it wasn't MUGEN, the Game I read about in my mag was a Gamecube game, which was awayting realese in Europe, but never made the way it looks like. It was a 3D fighting game, similar to SSB, just with (I think) conamie's game characters. And it had Prime, Megatron and Devastator as players, well I think devastator was a boss, the TFs were based of the G1 toys.
Wen I get back home I'll get that mag out, scan in the pics and get the name.

Huh. Have never heard of it until now. When you said fighting game with Prime and Megatron my mind automatically went to MUGEN.

Okay, they put up movelists at Smash Bros. Dojo. Snake's moves are:

(These relate to the Gamecube controls, which is why I use B...because I don't know how they'll do the controls on Wii)

B: Hand grenade
> B: Remote Controlled Missile (Nikita)
^ B: Cypher (Pull out a Cypher, the camera drones from MGS2, and ride it upwards
v B: Plant C4
Final Smash: Call in a Helicopter, then shoot up your enemies with a Greande launcher from off-screen.

I assume his Basic Moves will be various CQC moves.
