I argee with you to a degree. Old school rap used to have a message and story behind the songs, but songs now days it does not.I was reading in the paper the other day that rap music sales are actually going down not up. Shows alot of people are sick of them singing about the stuff they do now days. The only thing it's good for is testing the bass on subwoofers for car stereos.
