I cant believe no ones mentioned the GaoGaiGar opening theme Yuusha-oh Tanjou, by far one of the best things I have ever heard.

Again though, I could type all day about some of my favorites.

Just been listening to it so I thought I'd mention the Tenjou Tenge opening theme. Even though the show is mindless pap the opening theme (in places) combined with the animation is really catchy and addictive for me... one of my favourites for sure.

Anime themes are the best cos they clearly put the effort in to make unique songs for each series and part of series.

The themes for transformers cartoons are way diferent in japan. I saw some on youtube.More soulful.

Bleach has some of the best.The theme from episode 55 onward is great.Ichiro No Hana.The thrash metal rocks. But i find some of the end themes on Bleach scarily sickly.Sickly on purpose i suppose.

Deathnote has the best themes for both series ever.

Kami Arashi are a very good band. They do some of the Bleach themes and Deathnote series 1.Might do more in those series i dont know.

i think i might see what the world of japanese heavy metal /thrash has going.Seems good so far.

Lol. Bleach has great end themes. Just for the pure cringe factor of "Happy People!"

The F!SRL Transformer theme was actually made with Transformers in mind though. It was really only back in 70s and 80s that they did that. These days it's mostly pop songs but there are still a few that are made with the show in mind.

Take Zetsubo Billy from Death Note for example, that song actually references Kira near the end, though they cut that part out of the show for some reason. The video also features the Death Note being used to kill popular J-Pop stars, and Nightmare who did the first opening and ending. Great stuff.
