I saw this not even an hour ago. I'm literally in shock. Murder-Suicide? That just doesn't sound or seem right.

I met this man outside of the Gund Arena the one single time I went to a wrestling event. Not for an autograph, not to take a picture. Me and my brother were coming from a far away parking garage, he had just arrived at the back parking area, and saw me wearing a 'Crippler' shirt as I walked past. The man took the time to call out to us, shake our hands, and thank us for coming to see the show. He was the only person in my 21 years of life who actually thanked me for being supportive. The man was a class act.

God I am so freaking sad.

However no matter how foolish it got with its repeat arcs and pathetic storylines, there was always one man who made me actually tune in and watch with eager intent. That was The Crippler himself. Man he was great, way back in the WCW I watched him get pounded by four men, Hogan, Paul White, Flair and Nash all in the same match. I don't remember if he won or not, but to see him stagger up after each blow, each supplex, each leglock... well it impressed me enough to consider him one of my favorites. Now to hear his family is nearly eradicated? Its sickeningly sad. My prayers go out to the surviving members of his clan, where ever they may be.

I feel the same way. I had not followed wrestling or really watched it in a few years but when I heard about this..

same here.i dont follow wrestling no more. i follow mostly MMA now, but i remember when shane bought off wcw and chris, eddie and the other(forgot his name) would unexpectedly just come out of no where. those were the times.

From what I know murder-suicide does not sit well. One cop is calling it a murder-suicide while the lead investigator is calling is murder.

I was discussing it with my friends today, and we don't see how Benoit would ever stoop to murder/homicide...we're thinking maybe something like carbon monoxide poisoning.

Reports are saying he killed Nancy Saturday, his son Sunday, and himself earlier today.

I'm just shocked. I never in a million years would've thought Chris Benoit capable of anything like this.

Good man, great wrestler, what went wrong??? I hope we get the answers in the next few days.

Where did you read that? Just curious.

Nevermind, I found it. The more that I read and hear about this the more it looks like Chris did do the untinkable, which I hope is not the case.

There's a few different media outlets picking the story up and reporting various things, including that the deaths occurred over a couple of days.

At this stage it's clearly looking like a double-murder suicide with Chris ... gah ... doing it.

But i'm not going to believe anything until the police release their final findings.

My God I was so stunned to read this when I got into work this morning.

I cannot get my head round the fact that he has ‘allegedly’ killed his family, I just cant. I hope this turns out not to be the case.

But either way yet another wrestler taken from us long before his time.

RIP Chris Beniot and his family.

Chris Benoit was one of the best, one of my favs. I remember watching him as the Pegasus Kid a long time ago. Damn shame.

Hope what their sayin' ain't true, I would never in this world think he could do something like this.

Having thought about this, as much as I admired Beniot as a wrestler, if it turns out he has murdered his family, my whole view of the man will change. Like I said I hope it is not true and that he didn’t murdered anyone, but surely tributes are bang out of order IF he did.

Well lads.

I have not been around for some time, but I just wanted to pay my respects to the late Chris Benoit. It is truly sad if he has indeed comitted the heinous acts we have seen. One of the greatest legacies in professional wrestling, as has wrestling as a whole, has been irrevocably tarnished.

Here is a quote from WWE.com

At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday.

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
