AstrotrainHis sixth sense went alive like fire in the back of his processor. Weirdwolf jerked his paw away from
Skullcruncher and prepared to leap back, but the feeling of danger almost immediately passed. Weirdwolf calmed as Skullcruncher began to revert back to his robot mode. His friend had returned to his senses. Good. Weirdwolf also transformed back into robot mode and clapped his good friend on his arm.
“Weirdwolf? What just happened?"“Decepticons withdrawing from the field aboard Astrotrain we are,” Weirdwolf explained before thinking back to the epic clash with the Fallen. “Aflame and burning with hate the Fallen was. Defeated Sixshot, destroyer of worlds he did, and fates of ours quite grim looked. Constructicons six joined as one to cause some devastation. Aid they did in the shield’s destruction. Descend upon the Fallen did we, freezing his flaming frame to make him cease.”
“The Autobots…” Weirdwolf growled lowly, “Possessed a spark extractor most foul. Plunged it did into the chest of the flaming one. Tore out the darkness in his spark that resided there. Autobots keep it now to dispose of later. Used we were. But victory yet still grand belongs to Decepticons as well as Autobots.”
“Pulled you from where you fell did I,” Weirdwolf said with a pause, before continuing with an angry undertone, “To retrieve your sword you asked of me, and so went I to appease. Autobots lingered still in the way, so made I a plea. Met with insult and insolence was I. Yet with dignity, the sword was won and returned to you did I.”
“Once given, the cruncher of skulls reverted back to a form most primal. Fed a Vehicon to quench your hunger. Now here are we.” Weirdwolf gestured all around them, “Aboard Astrotrain. The kings of beasts and roads concerned were with your primal appetite.”

Australia – Shuttle Longevity – Combat Casualty Care UnitRewind could hardly process what was happening. Chromedome whipped his head around so quickly and pulled him into a very gentle embrace. The tiny archivist reached up with one hand and wrapped it as much as he could around Chromedome. He didn’t have the strength to squeeze. It was a struggle just to
be moved by Domey.
"It's my fault, this was all my fault! Don't blame yourself, I was the one who thought we could take Hex..." Chromedome pulled away slowly. The cassette reached for his conjunx endura’s hand and tried to shake his head, but that only caused him to wince with pain. Ow. Not a good idea.
“No…” Rewind managed, his voice rather weak. He stared up into the golden visor of his conjunx endure. “Don’t…” The archivist had to pause. It was really quite difficult to speak. And the pain in Chromedome’s face pierced him to the spark. Rewind squeezed Chromedome’s hand in quiet protest.
"I-I almost lost you..."“
Domey…you can’t blame…yourself. Please…?” Rewind looked at Chromedome with reassuring cheer. “You didn’t lose me…right here. So, it’s okay, Domey. It’s…okay.” Rewind fell silent for a long moment, his attention shifting curiously to the video playing back in the corner of his HUD. In it there was…oh. The tiny archivist’s grip on his conjunx endura’s hand tightened slightly as he watched Chromedome’s collapse into grief and then anger. Most of what happened after Chromedome went after Hex was out of frame…but the audio, though not perfect quality, was clear enough to piece together the visuals.
“I…probably don’t say this…enough…but…”
A pause as Rewind looked Chromedome visor-to-visor.
“I love you.”

Australia – Shuttle Longevity – BridgeInitially,
Ratchet looked about as dumbfounded as Blaster felt. Initially. He soon straightened, staring Blaster right in the optic with narrowed ones of his own. Blaster wasn’t really sure what to expect. His processor wasn’t exactly functioning at top capacity right now. But Ratchet reached up and grabbed his upper arms, squeezing them tightly.
“Where?" he growled out.
Ratchet’s equal parts rough and gentle call back to reality was enough to shake Blaster somewhat from his stupor. Blaster looked back at the CMO with a genuine optimistic smile. “Here. Earth. Specifically, in one of the rainforests on this planet,” Blaster explained, removing himself from Ratchet’s grip. He motioned over to the console that he was working from and brought up a map of the planet. A dot blinked in the middle of one of the southern continents, the exact coordinates displayed beside it.
“I’ve done every possible check I can think of but it…Ratchet, I think it’s him. It’s definitely him. I can
feel it,” Blaster looked at the medical officer with a grin slowly forming on his faceplate. “I sent an emergency message to Ultra Magnus. He should be here soon! And then we can go…we can go get Optimus!” Blaster was almost hesitant to say the name aloud. It felt…like it would jinx things.
