Now that some of us are ready upgrade to level 4 will there be any missions available or will we be perma-limited to level 3?

Unfortunately you are limited to L3 currently, but that should change very shortly

Re: Level 4 Missions
I apologize for being absent the last 3-4 weeks. On top of being out of state for the holidays we have moved into a significantly larger home which required me to do a list of electrical/woodworking/plumbing repairs on our old house to get it ready to sell. Since it is listing today I should be around after tonight. The first thing I'm doing is getting new missions up.

Re: Level 4 Missions
I personally dont think there are quite enough ready for L3/4 missions. If new missions were required then i assume the L4 arena is heaving right now? Only around 10 individual bots are capable of L4 and just 125 of L3, from over 8000, that sounds like not quite enough to me. Take further into account the faction differential, then Max and Preds would dissapear completely from missions leaving Autobots heavily outnumbered. about 70 Cons vs. 35 Bots with maybe a sprinkling of pReds and Maxipads!!!!
Call me a commie, but i dont think this helps the game much. There is the xp hogging scenario, but there is a possibility of overscoring in missions. Maybe a better idea is adding L0/1 missions instead.?.?..??
Thats my tuppence aipney for ya to tink orn.

I don't think giving every bot 1 Million XP and making all the missions L0 - 10 is.. THAT good a plan..

It'd cirtainly be entertaining. But with there being no solid date for V2, it'd get boring pretty quickly if anything like thatwere done anytime soon.

I have lots of cunning plans, and also a head cold, so I can't remember which one you're talking about.
Is this the one that involves Pie, JP, whips & chains and Mogwai Prime dressed as a french maid?

And I thought the only thing I missed out on by not being a member of staff was OS's kinky staff only sexy parties.
Not being a member of staff is sounding better all the time!

This IS one of those parties, it's just Burn's turn organising it.

I just thought I would chime in some two cents here. Granted I understand that nothing is set in stone as to what happens but as far as concerns of what happens if high level missions are implemented.
I think that a 0/1 is a win, 4 vs 4 for the beasts win, 0/3 still good. A 2/4 would be viable, Well setup 2's and 3's can be effective against a few 4's. I say this because given the numbers of commanders who could be lvl 4 are few enough that most likely only a couple lvl 4's would be in a mission at a time.
In the end I'm sure we have a capable staff that can cook up a decent solution to this concern.

Your confidence, although amusing, is off the mark (see previous page).

However I will second slip's comments on missions - those seem to be the logical next step. The question to the staff / community is if solid level (only 0s, only 1s, only 2s, only 3s, etc.) would be beneficial). Perhaps we should accept the fact there will be some trial and error involved.
Much like Psychout with a video camera when he's used to being... no, wait, I'm not typing that; </post>

IMO? No. If you want to fight the same level go to the arena.Wingspan wrote:However I will second slip's comments on missions - those seem to be the logical next step. The question to the staff / community is if solid level (only 0s, only 1s, only 2s, only 3s, etc.) would be beneficial).
The missions are supposed to be a risk, but they are a risk that has a chance of paying out. Show me an L1 that made nearly 2k in an arena mission...
(yeah, not my dude, but a good example nonetheless.)
