Yes, we kno that one of the 4 chests can. Thank you for the constant reminder that you choose MJ.
Flux Convoy wrote:I came here to talk about Lucky Rogers parts. Who the eff is Maiden Japan? For those not really keeping score closely enough, these kits come with NEARLY all the same stuff. The differences being, each kit has a separate head sculpt and two separate "weapon" pieces each. Looks like everything can stay attached for transformation too which is a huge one-up on MJ. Don't get me wrong, I like what he does and the pieces I have. These are looking good though and deserve a fair shake. My only complaint is the yellow faces. I don't recall Junkions in the show or movie having yellow faces. I could be wrong, I just don't remember any.
I agree with your thoughts 100% Flux. I like my MJ sets but the fact that the LR kits add specific characterization, weapons to accent it, and can still transform have me very interested. Based on the competition, it's a pretty good price too. The yellow faces are a bummer but I'm sure they'll mesh fine with the yellow on Junkheap.

Not sure how long they've been up for preorder on Tfsource, but figured I'd post here just in case.

(I am tempted, but will have to see about funds for other things...also, since the colours look pretty good with Generations Wreck-Gar, I'd need a United one to be actual Wreck-gar.)
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I ended up ordering them. It was the transforming possibilities that sold me. I'll love having a Junkion army.

Wow, yes, that is an excellent price! I have these kits and they have been great in creating my Junkion army. It's too bad the original figures appear to be disintegrating before my eyes...

How so? These don't have GPS issues, do they? I've never had issues. Just curious.

I actually laughed yesterday when, just after I posted this I went to the front page and saw WJ88's article, "Top 5 Transformers Toys Most Likely to Break (and make you cry)." Very timely! He puts it well at the top of the article with Wreck Gar coming in at number 5:
william-james88 wrote:5. Transformers Reveal The Shield Wreck-Gar
This is one of the best robot modes around and a really smart cool motorcycle transformer. Except there is one slight issue: he will break if you play with him too much! And it sucks too, it's one of the motorbike's handlebars, which then makes the sweet bike mold look totally uneven. And the added play value of having another Junkion ride the motorcycle kind of becomes moot since his bike is now inoperable. The sad fact about this breakage is that it will happen regardless of if you use it properly, just normal wear and tear will do the trick (though not transforming properly will make it happen sooner). You can't glue it back on because it is part of an automorph gimmick which also gets crushed when the handlebar breaks. So while he can still transform, your handlebar will never get back there and cant be fixed. In this day and age where breakage is supposed to be solved, this is kind of abhorrent. It happened to mine:
One of mine snapped off exactly like in the picture. And I wasn't doing anything differently, it just crumbled when I was transforming him. Fortunately it was one of my many general release figures, and not one of the exclusives. But, thanks to the Lucky Rogers kits, the broken one just stays in the pretty neat robot mode. And I'm not too put out as these are Junkions, right? They are supposed to look a little junky...

Anyhow, this set is awesome. It's too bad they didn't make it in another color with a new head for the other mass released Junkion (blanking on the name). But I guess Maiden Japan filled out the remaining need. Too bad, since I feel this set is superior.
