From TFW, Comparisons pics of MP-10 and Astrotrain. In front of the same Madlaw box.

The pic with MP-10 Next to MP Sideswipe. Is to show that both Machine boy Astrotrain and MP Sideswipe come up to the same are on MP-10's area on his robot torso.

So it appears Machine boy Astrotrain and MP Sideswipe are the same robot tall height of 6.4 from head to toe.

Wait a minute- this is a bootleg of DX9's Astrotrain! Machine Boy are the guys who did the KO of Hercules IIRC.

looking at the pic of mp10 it looks like AT might be a little shorter than the white stripe on OP forearm ??

Looking at the Machine boy Astrotrain pic, I'm not shocked that this is a KO company making this toy. As I think the Machine Boy Astrotrain test shot sculpt looks a bit simplistic, undersculpted, overly blocky. not that much detail put into the blocky areas in the sculpt. The plastic looks low quality and light on the test shot. Think about the only thing this Astrotrain has going for it. Is the well proportioned robot mode sculpting.

Machine Boy/Meng Badi have been knocking off official Transformers for years. Theyre like a high quality version of CHMS for want of a better description! :lol:

As Tsu mentioned, members over on TFW2005 boards have been trying to estimate a height/scale with a combination of various photos etc so I thought it might help folk here to see them also so great minds can debate alike!

No, it seems to be an original design. DX9's toy looks different, as does Toyworld's and Justitoys.

That actually looks quite good! Glad to see they kept the chest wing- he looks oh so dull without it. And no dumb partsforming plank like on Chigurgh!

Providing the scale is good he could very well be a perfect MP Astrotrain.

Personally, I hope he is voyager scale so he looks good next to Hasbro Blitzwing. Even better if that annoying chest wing folds in to give him more of a cartoon look.

A few replies above, some members here have already guessed this toy will be Voyager class. Baes off pics provided in this thread.

Based off pics, Think this is a Small 6.6 inch tall robot Deluxe-Voyager like the MP Cars bots. This won't scale evenly with HasTak 30th Blitwing as Blitz has a 7 and 1/4 tall robot height.

Since the chest wing has a bent articulation thing in the middle. And their is a huge slit gap in the chest. Can only assume this means the chest wing can fold in or out of the robot chest.

This cheap looking KO quality toy here shows buying off scale is the wrong reason to buy expensive Third party toys.

seems to have fewer parts count, not as complex, not as high quality compared to TW Evila Star and DX9 Chigurh.

Seems like this toy was made on a short cuts budget and by a KO company that specializes in making Cheap inferior toys. Think it was mentioned by some members on the TFW Forums, That Machine Robo also makes Low quality KO toys.

No, I said they made KOs and cheap toys for the Chinese kid market. This is their first attempt at something for the collector market. I don't mind that it seems to have the G1 Transformation with added size and ball joints. That's actually a plus in my book. Hopefully the fact that they have factories and mass produce things will keep the price down. Their version of Springer and Ironhide sell for $7-14 in Chinese stores, and you can import them for $30-40.

Their is no MP Blitzwing toy. That pic is 30th Blitzwing. :lol:

Machine Boy Astrotrain comes up Two maybe three lines shorter than 30TH Blitzwing does on that mad law art lines box. So it's doubtful MB Astrotrain will have a taller robot height. Machine Boy Astrotrain will be a almost a head shorter than 30TH Blitzwing.
