If the limbs are scout size then this will be an easy pass. FP have proven with Intimidator that a lot must be sacrificed to make gestalts this small. Those things are flimsy as hell!

Some have said that they believe FP designed Intimidator a long time ago because of the old style elbows he has, so what about this guy then? Personally I'm stating think they can't (or wont) do any better.
Can't describe how underwhelmed I am by this. Hopefully TFC or MMC will do their own version.
If Giant is anything to go by, then these won't be scout-sized nor flimsy.

This looks very, very nice! I like the take. (I'm also surprised it took so long for a complaint about the elbows.

)
And it looks as if that backpack on Quantron will indeed be a giant bow:

Okay, I like this. I have a combiner from each of the major players except for Make Toys. Unless I'm blown away by something from MMC or TFC, I can be perfectly happy with this one.

What is the difference between the elbows on Maketoys Computron and TFC Superion?

Then the arms should be looking more modern, not like an updated Cybertron gestalt.
Stormrider wrote:What is the difference between the elbows on Maketoys Computron and TFC Superion?
TFC and MMC make the effort to design their figures so the bots making the arms have their knees hidden when combined so the hips become the elbows and the it is just forearm. Instead of having knee joints sitting in the middle of the forearms like this. It just looks like a slack design to me.

I definitely like it. Computron looks far better than the Menasor release.

Yeah, that and the thin, spindly legs with a gap in between them. I mean I guess I sort of get why given the individual figures' proportions in bot mode, but TFC's seriously look soooo much better because the legs that make up the forearms are thick and sit closer together. You can basically still tell what they are, but they don't look like two spaghetti noodles holding onto an anvil

.

Some complained about FP Deadend this looks all kinds of wrong shoulders and legs

the legs remind me of the abused Sunstreaker mold i never liked the legs on it, it looks as though the outer shoulder part could be able to turn backwards to hide what looks like the spoiler? which would help some but definitely the lamest looking one.
Computron looks good but his head need to be so much bigger it looks stupid.

I agree mon ami. The backpack throws off the look of the proportions a little but its removable so yeah. I'm surprised these guys are so far along. Think it will come out as a gift set?

Gosh I hope not. My only saving grace in this plastic crack habit is that I can spread out the costs of combiners over months (or years...)

I'm at a point in my collection and finances where something really has to *WOW* me. This fails in that respect.
I wasn't impressed with Giant, I just sold off my Battle Tanker, and cancelled my Chaos Paladin preorder (the bright orange PCC plugs were the final straw for me). MakeToys just gets no love from me, I guess.

According to Peaugh, during TFcon 2013, Maketoys Quantron will be released in two - 2packs and a third with their version of Scattershot. Lightspeed/Strafe pack is coming out in November

Hrm.... $120, $150, $180 price tag? Does anybody recall what Giant 2 packs were originally? It's currently $150 at BBTS.

$120/pack.
I just wonder how pricing of the 2-packs will compare to the single main figure. That guy is HUGE!
