With the twins, you've got the good ol' X-Embargo. Hank Pym doesn't have that issue, and Michael Douglas was cast before Age of Ultron began filming, though I suppose it was still too late to re-write the script to include him.

Who says Hank Pym didn't make Ultron, or at least help creat him? In Age of Ultron, we are led to believe that the Ultron program has been around for enough time that both Stark and Banner know about it, and all it needed was an AI. No one, nowhere, at no time explicitly states that Stark and Banner are the only minds behind Ultron. There is still the possibility that Hank Pym's history with Howard Stark, and quite possibly Tony Stark, will somehow tie in with Ultron.

im sorry buddy but you seem to have forgotten a few points.

the film tells us that Ultron was an artificial intelligence peacekeeping program , originally conceived and created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.

The original the idea for Ultron was as an extension of the Iron Legion program [seen in Iron man 3], The Ultron A.I. was intended to operate the Iron legion independently as a peacekeeping force for earth so that the Avengers were no longer needed.

The problem was neither Banner nor Stark were able to develop the level of A.I. needed to control such a large scale deployment of Iron warriors........but after the recovered Loki's scepter, and decrypted coded information from it, Stark and Banner were able to fully realize the project they started a some time before the 2nd film.

i guess its still possible he had others working different "parts" of the program.....but i dont see how they could fit in that Hank Pym might have been one of them.

The Avengers films clearly states that the Ultron program was created around the time of Ironman 3 and in resp;once to the events of the first Avengers film.....so within the last 2 to 3 years.

The Antman film tells us that after Hank was voted out of the company, Pym rarely,if ever, worked with anyone and lived as a recluse in his mansion, still continuing his experiments to try to understand the Quantum Realm for over 5 years.

So, Hank was hiding out in his house when Tony and Bruce were working on the Ultron ai.

That's a logical fallacy. Just because one specific line wasn't stated, doesn't mean the idea is false.

It didn't. Hank Pym went unmentioned throughout Age of Ultron. And in Ant-Man, he was far more concerned with people stealing his technology than he was about Ultron nearly destroying the Earth.

The thing is, they didn't need to create Ultron. Jarvis was smart enough to know what an alien is and if they seem to be hostile. And the armors already had A.I. controlling them at the beginning of the movie. But then that would mean they would need someone else as a villain in Avengers 2

and the "armors" as you put it were not great in numberrs.
tony wanted the ultron ai to be able to control hundreds of millions of armors

I guess Ultron would've been more suitable for protection of Earth. I'm just glad Claw was in the movie and Wickanda was mentioned setting up for the Black Panther movie. Because let's face it, Claw is the bad guy in the movie. He's always after vibranium. I just can't wait 'till Civil War comes out and then see the post credits scene for that. It'll probably be a Dr. Strange thing though. He was mentioned in The Winter Soldier so they had to make his movie soon
